My approach to therapy is solution-focused, compassionate, and centered on helping clients build lasting skills. Rather than simply helping someone get through the current crisis, I want to equip them with the tools they need to navigate future challenges with greater confidence and independence.
I focus on identifying and addressing the underlying issues that drive recurring patterns, whether that's unresolved childhood trauma, deeply held negative beliefs about oneself, or other core experiences. My goal is to help clients process those experiences, challenge unhelpful cognitions, and develop healthier, more adaptive beliefs about themselves.
While it's important to acknowledge and address what's happening in a client's life right now, I believe lasting change comes from understanding and working through the deeper patterns that contribute to those challenges. I strive to balance supporting clients through present-day concerns with helping them create meaningful, long-term change.

Feeling stuck and frustrated? Struggling to deal with the loss of a loved one? Trying to find balance in your life while coping with chronic illness? Expecting an upcoming change? Not able to sleep or stay on top of things in your life? I am here to help!
Therapy cannot be effective if we are not meeting your specific needs and goals. I want to meet you where you are and together identify a path forward. I want to understand you, your values, and your background while also giving you solution-focused interventions you can utilize to make changes. If talking it through without homework is the way you want to go, that is fine too! We are all capable of change and moving forward but sometimes it is the dialogues in our head, relationships, or other factors that are getting in our way. Therapy is a great place to work through those and be more connected with what you value in your life. Let's work together!
Hi! My name is Shalom Adler ,and I am excited to be a part of the Grow Therapy team. As the great psychiatrist Viktor Frankl says, “There is nothing in the world … that would so effectively help one to survive even the worst conditions as the knowledge that there is a meaning in one's life.”

A little more about me: I'm a Minnesota native currently living in Florida. I spend a lot of my time as a sports mom on the sidelines at soccer and volleyball games, watching professional hockey (especially the MN Wild!), and being hopelessly bad at gardening in Florida.
Hey there, my name is Amelia,
By taking a compassionate and warm approach, I help my clients heal from the past and make meaningful change in the present. My priority is to build authentic, honest relationships with my clients. Through building a trusting relationship, my hope is that you feel comfortable to explore your emotions and unpack past experiences that may be hindering you in your present life. I believe therapy should be engaging, supportive, and responsive.
Have you suffered from a Narcissistic abusive relationship? Do you tend to be a caregiver at the expense of your own needs? Toxic relationships are not limited to romantic partners, they can be with our parents, siblings, friends, and even work relations. These kinds of experiences leave a lasting, negative impact on one’s mental and emotional well-being resulting in a life-long trauma wound. This can leave us in a state of perpetual anxiety, depression, isolation, confusion and codependency, and possible addiction. In my therapy practice, I address the root causes of codependent behaviors which stem from early childhood experiences in dysfunctional family systems, resulting in our ineffective behavioral patterns today. I also have extensive experience working with those who have struggled with addiction and Borderline Personality Disorder.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Qualified Supervisor with extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in the belief that healing occurs through safe, authentic relationships. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, autism, ADHD, and family relationship difficulties. Drawing from EMDR, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Adlerian principles, and attachment-based approaches, I help clients better understand themselves, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
Many of my clients are women and teen girls (12 and up) who are high-functioning on the outside but feel exhausted, anxious, or disconnected on the inside. You may be managing work, school, relationships, or caregiving while internally feeling overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, or like you’re running on empty.
If you’re someone who’s tried to “figure it out” on your own or learned coping skills in therapy before but still find yourself falling into the same patterns, you’re not alone. Many of the women I work with come in feeling frustrated that insight hasn’t translated into real change.
In our work together, we focus on getting to the root of what’s keeping you stuck in cycles like burnout, over-functioning, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting boundaries. Instead of just managing symptoms, we work to understand and shift what’s driving them so the change actually lasts.
A key part of this process involves working with your nervous system—not just your thoughts. You may already understand what’s going on logically, but still feel it in your body and day-to-day life. We focus on helping your system feel safer, more grounded, and less reactive so you can begin to break those automatic cycles and respond in new ways.
I integrate EMDR, somatic approaches, attachment-based therapy, TF-CBT, and experiential work to support both emotional processing and practical change. The goal is to help you move from insight into real, sustainable shifts in how you feel, relate, and show up in your life.
Sessions are collaborative and paced so you don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. The goal is to help you feel more grounded, emotionally steady, and connected to yourself and your relationships.
I also offer trauma intensives for self-pay clients who want deeper, focused work in a shorter period of time.
I'm a licensed professional counselor and licensed mental health counselor, and I'm here to support you through life's challenges- whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, difficult relationships, or the lasting effects of childhood trauma or dysfunction. My style is warm, compassionate, and solution-focused. I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen and heard, so in our sessions, you can expect a safe space where your story is honored without judgment. Together, we'll explore what's been holding you back and begin taking real steps toward positive change.
As a therapist, my commitment is to help my clients explore their needs and goals so they can discover what might be holding them back from a fulfilled life, providing the tools needed to navigate life's challenges. I specialize in CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy) which offers insight into one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My goal is to provide a safe and healing therapeutic space. I challenge my clients to unlock their strengths, develop life skills, and achieve desired outcomes while fostering growth and empowerment to help facilitate each person's unique journey.
Our lives are full of obstacles that can prevent us from living life to its fullest. Some obstacles we seem to bring upon ourselves, while others are thrust upon us. Overcoming these obstacles can be difficult and sometimes painful. I offer a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic setting. Together, we explore the specific challenges you are facing which impede your ability to live life to its fullest. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic interventions.

Hello,
I am very happy to meet you here. My name is Cassandra Sams, but please call me Sandy. I have been working as a counselor for over 20 years. Most of my experience has been in private practice but I also spent some time in agencies working with children and adolescents. I believe the agency work gave me wonderful opportunities to work with families and to help them navigate very challenging issues like mood disorders and anxiety. I feel very privileged to have been allowed to help parents find new behaviors to help them navigate the world of parenting. I also have been able to help children and adolescents understand their parents' perspectives. Likewise, I really enjoy working with individuals who are dealing with various life transitions such as leaving school to go to college or into the workforce, leaving college and building a career, getting married and having children, or struggling with the mid-life crisis and coping with career changes or life changes such as divorce or deaths of family members. I do not consider myself to be the expert of your life. You are the expert and I am the witness. I feel honored and privileged to be invited into your life experiences and to be a witness to your life's journey. I believe that your story is sacred and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. I use cognitive behavioral strategies blended with existential therapy to assist you in discovering what your story is. My hope is that you will learn to love your stories as much as I do.
I'm so glad you're here! I’m Ms. Lewis, a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a deep commitment to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and growth. With a warm and nonjudgmental approach, I create a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions openly.
I became a therapist because I genuinely love helping individuals become the best version of themselves, feel heard, and find significance in their lives. Being a therapist allows me to witness and support the incredible resilience of the human spirit. It is a privilege to guide clients toward clarity, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.
I have been in the mental health field since 2007. I was informed when I first started in this field that the average time for people to stay in the field is two years. I am still in the field because helping others is more than a career choice for me, it is my passion in life. Helping others is a personal goal of mine. I look forward to the opportunity. I enjoy seeing people make positive changes in their lives. I have worked with families, couples, children, adolescents and teens, from various cultures and backgrounds. Each case and each client is unique in their way and each client is important.
My particular areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage counseling and family counseling. I refer to myself as a "simple-minded therapist" which means we will explore simple ways to address the presenting concerns because many times the solutions are so simple they can be easily overlooked. I am a firm believer that holding a conversation is more productive than expounding on theoretical approaches.
