Does this sound familiar: · Feeling stuck? · Trapped? · Struggling to cope with all the demands placed on you? · Feel like you have no control over things in your life? · Struggling to remain organized? · Struggling with life's transitions? · Difficulty managing daily stresses? · Struggling to regulate your emotions?
If you answered 'yes' to any of those and are ready to make a change and take control of your life, allow me to help you. Change is not easy, and it can be scary, but it is necessary in order to move forward. Together we can work to identify and overcome the obstacles in your life that are preventing you from reaching your potential and realizing your goals. I can help you gain insight and develop healthy coping skills so that you may experience personal growth.
Contact me today for a free 20 minute consultation to see if we would be a good fit to work together. If not, I would be happy to help you find someone who is! If you do not see a day/time that works for you, let me know. I am happy to be flexible if my schedule allows for it. My schedule may not always be up to date during busy times as it changes every week. While I only conduct sessions from Monday to Thursday, I am happy to have a consultation call on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in sunny Florida! I received my master’s degree from the University of South Florida and have been licensed and practicing for 30 years, treating all ages. Do you wonder if life should feel somehow better? Happier? Now more than ever, people are feeling anxious and overwhelmed due to challenges that prior generations did not face. We’re expected to manage our relationships and careers flawlessly in a world that is rapidly changing without anyone who quite understands how to guide us. If you can relate - you’re in the right place.
When you begin therapy with me, you’ll feel like you’re talking to a close friend with a wealth of clinical knowledge. Open, friendly, warm, caring - these are just a few of the ways my friends, family members, and clients describe my personality. In sessions with me, you’ll feel free of judgment as we discuss some of the struggles that brought you here.
Most importantly, I’ll help you understand some of your own tendencies so that we can identify thought patterns and behaviors that you’d like to change. During this process, you'll feel encouraged and supported, and will feel motivated in new ways.
I’ve been passionate about psychology since I was eighteen, when I began studying it in Cuba. My mother once told me she had always dreamed of being a psychologist but had to follow another path—and that dream inspired my own. After completing my degree in Cuba, where I worked in inpatient and school settings, I continued my journey in the United States and earned my master’s degree in psychology.
Over the years, I’ve worked with children, families, and adults through moments of crisis, grief, and major life transitions. My experience with multidisciplinary teams has taught me to see each person as a whole—emotionally, physically, spiritually, and socially. Healing happens when we look at the full picture of someone’s life, not just their symptoms.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida. I'm experienced working with individuals, groups, couples and families. When working with an individual, couple or family I assess and addresses the entire family history, the sum of its parts, and not simply the individuals that comprise it. The distress or problem that originated may not solely be within an individual but a natural reaction to a family dynamic that creates the distress. By using Family Systems Theory I'm able to help the Client have a deeper awareness of their personal conflicts, how to resolve them, and live a more fulfilling life without addictions.
I have a Bachelor’s from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. Im experienced working with Adolescents, LGBTQ+ Community, HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence, Sex and Love Addiction, and 12 Step Recovery.
