Many people struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, navigating friendships, connecting with your partner or building stronger family dynamics, but I am here to help. No matter how big or small the problem is, no one should face life challenges alone. I would be happy to be part of your journey of healing, seeking self-acceptance and optimal fulfillment to live your best life. My hope for our work together is that you complete therapy with a better understanding of self, emotions, behaviors and a unique toolbox to manage any stressors. I utilize person-in-environment approaches, where we are able to look at how the different domains of life are impacting you and vice versa. As a therapist, I am collaborative, exploratory, and realistic, which also means that I will challenge you to expand your perspective about yourself, emotions, thoughts, behaviors, relationships, family dynamics, etc. Being vulnerable is scary! In my practice, I view therapy as a collaborative process, where you are the expert of your life and experiences and I can help you to figure out where you want to go and how you want to get there. I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach. While uncomfortable feelings might be a commonality (especially in today's world), I believe we are all individuals who learn, experience, and react to situations differently. One thing I know for sure, if everything was going "great" chances are you would not be reading this bio right now. BRAVO to you for taking this monumental step and investing in yourself!!! Hi, I'm Masha Andreoni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with 14+ years of professional/educational experience and 49+ years of lived experience. A majority of my work experience has been spent working with Veterans and Active Duty Reservists focusing on post deployment issues, substance use/abuse, and military sexual trauma. Today, I work with individuals/groups/families within a multitude of populations. Most importantly, I do not believe that individuals fit snuggly into a particular mental health "box." For example, if diagnosed with PTSD... there is a good chance that anxiety, depression, insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present. If struggling with addictions...anxiety, depression insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present (you get it). My focus/goal is to understand where you are coming from, what you hope to achieve, avoid making any particular judgements/labels, and work together as we embrace this journey of solution focused change and betterment. While I can take the time to tell you how my approach is warm, motivating, understanding, open....in the end, this is for you to decide. I can however assure you that regardless of diplomas achieved, I never stop pursuing education in this ever-changing field/world. I am here to be of service. With me comes my personality, knowledge, humor (when appropriate), and respect! Truly looking forward to working with you.

Sometimes life blows up in a way you never saw coming. A relationship ends. Someone lies to you. Trust gets shattered. You lose someone you love. Anxiety starts taking over your brain. Or you wake up one day and realize the life you thought you were building is not the life you actually have. A lot of the people I work with are functioning just fine on the outside while internally thinking, What the hell just happened to my life? They're replaying conversations, second-guessing themselves, trying to make sense of someone else's behavior, wondering whether they missed something, and feeling completely exhausted by their own thoughts. You don't need to show up with a diagnosis or a beautifully organized explanation of what's wrong. You can bring the messy version. I'm not a therapist who is going to sit silently for 50 minutes, nod occasionally, and then ask how that made you feel. I am engaged. I ask questions. I notice patterns. I will tell you what I'm seeing. I will validate what deserves validation, and I will also challenge you when I think you are getting stuck, avoiding something important, or being much harder on yourself than the situation actually calls for. There is room here for grief, anger, confusion, ugly truths, dark humor, bad decisions, overthinking, faith, and the occasional sentence that starts with, "I know this sounds crazy, but..." I work especially well with adults dealing with anxiety, grief, heartbreak, betrayal, complicated relationships, and major life changes. What happened matters. But I do not want the worst thing that happened to you to become the organizing principle for the rest of your life.

Hi there, I am Charly. As a clinical therapist, I admire your willingness to seek therapy support. I want to offer understanding, and empathic emotional support to assist anyone experiencing emotional distress. Most people tend to suffer silently in their heads, or minds, due to conscious or subconscious, self-blame, shame, or guilt feelings as they seem to feel helpless. Individuals experiencing acute emotional distress due to mental health conditions often fail to realize that unresolved, deep internal pain or heartache is silently triggering their emotional distress. One school of talk therapy called, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), proposes that the lack of the capacity for "Psychological Flexibility" and our brain's default, or Survival Mode functioning the instinctual responses of "Flight or Flight," as required for human survival. As, your therapist, I am willing to support you in exploring your difficulty or distress and examine the mental barriers or psychological blinders causing you to feel internally conflicted and stuck. Some of my past and current clients tell me that "my ability to relate to them with an open mind and withholding personal judgment and a solution-focused perspective," helps them to feel at ease and connect with me and my style of therapy. I follow an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from academic learning, experiential knowledge, and over 30 years of practicing experience using evidence-based treatment modalities based on scientific literature and up-to-date neuroscience research. I have training and experience in the following major treatment modalities such as CBT, REBT, SFBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and specifically to deal with trauma, a newer form of Rapid Eye Movement Therapy (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).

Being the one who holds everything together can be exhausting, especially when your own needs go unnoticed. Perhaps you hold yourself to impossible standards, constantly questioning whether you've done enough. Maybe you're easily irritated, quick to anger, or carrying resentment you don't fully understand. You might avoid conflict, struggle to say no, or feel responsible for keeping everyone else happy. Or perhaps your struggles are quieter, showing up as harsh self-criticism, shame, or a persistent feeling that you're somehow not good enough. My practice focuses on supporting women navigating these experiences and the emotional exhaustion, relationship difficulties, and disconnection from self that may accompany them. Sometimes, understanding how we feel today involves exploring the experiences and relationships that have shaped us. Difficult childhood experiences, emotional neglect, abuse, painful relationships, and ongoing stress can influence how we view ourselves, manage emotions, and connect with others. Through a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach, we can explore the patterns that may be contributing to your struggles while developing healthier ways of responding to life's challenges. Together, we can work toward strengthening emotional awareness, establishing boundaries, building self-trust, and cultivating a more compassionate relationship with yourself. You deserve more than simply getting through each day. Therapy can be a space to begin moving beyond survival toward a life where you feel more grounded, connected, and able to thrive.

Hi, I'm Elizabeth Guinea, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 19 years of experience working with adults and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Over the years, I've worked with people from many different worlds, facing different expectations and pressures. Beneath those differences, familiar patterns often emerge: beliefs, habits, and ways of relating that once served a purpose but now keeps you repeating the same problem, and situations. I focus on changing the pattern underneath the symptoms. One of my strengths is recognizing those patterns quickly and helping you do something about them. Together, we'll connect insight with practical changes that fit your life. My goal is simple: for you to leave each session better than when you walked in -with greater clarity, a useful skill, or a concrete next step. I'm Dr. Maude Guilmette, a clinical, sports, and business psychologist and the founder of FloState Psychology. I work with people navigating the hard parts of everyday life — stress, burnout, self-doubt, the moments when your mind feels like it's working against you — as well as athletes and professionals performing under pressure. My approach is warm, practical, and grounded in neuroscience: understanding what's happening in your brain and body, and building small, steady tools that actually help on a hard day.

I’m Mysha, a licensed therapist, and I believe therapy should be a place where you can speak honestly without feeling like you have to have everything figured out. You may be used to showing up for everyone else, questioning yourself, or finding yourself in patterns you want to understand and change. Together, we’ll explore how your experiences shape your thoughts, emotions, and relationships while building confidence in your ability to express your needs, set boundaries, and make meaningful changes.

I completed my Masters in 2005, while also starting my journey in the field in 2004. I spent a year working in Opiate addiction but my true passion was children and families. I moved on to intensive services, working with underserved children and their families in rural areas, from 2005-2007. After leaving that position, I moved onto a company doing similar work. where I continued to work with children, families and adults that were underserved for 5 more years. I provided therapy in homes, schools and the office setting. I began to focus in on Trauma work as well as anxiety disorders to include OCD and all other anxiety disorders. After spending nearly 10 years in the field, I decided to get my license in the state of Florida (LMHC-Licensed Mental Health Counselor) and move into a management role where I worked for the past 13 years while also maintaining private clients. I supervise therapists, working to become licensed, so I spend a lot of time consulting on cases of all kinds. In this time I was also trained in various forms of trauma based cognitive behavioral approaches as well as EMDR (still learning however).

Being a mom can be beautiful, and brutally overwhelming. If you’re carrying invisible weight while trying to hold everything (and everyone) together, you’re not alone. Hi, I'm Olivia Lauzon, LCSW/LICSW and Certified Perinatal Mental Health provider. I specialize in working with mothers navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, and the deep identity shifts that come with parenthood. Whether your trauma is recent or rooted in childhood, becoming a mom has a way of bringing it to the surface. The sleepless nights, the mental load, the pressure to “do it all,” it can stir up old wounds in ways no one prepared you for. I am licensed to see clients in CO, FL, and WA.

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am a former school counselor who spent over 20 years helping students and their families work corporately to identify and manage feelings and behaviors that impacted daily functioning. I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in teaching and completed my graduate work in counseling at Florida International University and Barry University. My passion for being in this field comes from believing that every individual should have a safe space to work through life challenges while feeling supported.

Hi, I'm Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Reiki II practitioner. I believe that somewhere underneath the anxiety, the self-doubt, and the patterns that keep repeating, there is a version of you that already knows the way. My job isn't to fix you. It's to create a space steady enough that you can actually hear yourself. Together we get curious about the thoughts that won't quiet down, the emotions that feel bigger than the moment, the behaviors that keep showing up even when you don't want them to, and what all of it is actually trying to tell you. I utilize a holistic approach, bringing tools into our work that help you understand what's happening in your mind and body when you're overwhelmed, so you can actually do something about it instead of just surviving it. But more than any method or modality, I show up as a real person walking alongside you, trusting that you are the expert on your own life. If you're ready to listen to that wiser part of yourself and create meaningful change, I'd be honored to walk with you.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Florida. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Florida from Miami to Jacksonville! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Florida.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Self Esteem, is filtering therapists in Florida that work with patients with similar concerns.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
