I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach. While uncomfortable feelings might be a commonality (especially in today's world), I believe we are all individuals who learn, experience, and react to situations differently. One thing I know for sure, if everything was going "great" chances are you would not be reading this bio right now. BRAVO to you for taking this monumental step and investing in yourself!!! Hi, I'm Masha Andreoni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with 14+ years of professional/educational experience and 49+ years of lived experience. A majority of my work experience has been spent working with Veterans and Active Duty Reservists focusing on post deployment issues, substance use/abuse, and military sexual trauma. Today, I work with individuals/groups/families within a multitude of populations. Most importantly, I do not believe that individuals fit snuggly into a particular mental health "box." For example, if diagnosed with PTSD... there is a good chance that anxiety, depression, insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present. If struggling with addictions...anxiety, depression insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present (you get it). My focus/goal is to understand where you are coming from, what you hope to achieve, avoid making any particular judgements/labels, and work together as we embrace this journey of solution focused change and betterment. While I can take the time to tell you how my approach is warm, motivating, understanding, open....in the end, this is for you to decide. I can however assure you that regardless of diplomas achieved, I never stop pursuing education in this ever-changing field/world. I am here to be of service. With me comes my personality, knowledge, humor (when appropriate), and respect! Truly looking forward to working with you.

Many people struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, navigating friendships, connecting with your partner or building stronger family dynamics, but I am here to help. No matter how big or small the problem is, no one should face life challenges alone. I would be happy to be part of your journey of healing, seeking self-acceptance and optimal fulfillment to live your best life. My hope for our work together is that you complete therapy with a better understanding of self, emotions, behaviors and a unique toolbox to manage any stressors. Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep. I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for several decades. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread, and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I have published several articles and a book on sleep and am the director of the insomnia course for the World Sleep Academy, as well as a member of the Outreach and Public Education Committee, Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues on a limited basis. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all, people. I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people appreciate working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected, and I am even able to do hypnotherapy via telehealth.

Hi, I'm Dr. V.—a licensed, board-certified therapist with 19 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, and couples navigate intricate emotional landscapes. I specialize in treating complex trauma, relationship struggles, maladaptive coping, life transitions, and the sense of loneliness and isolation definitive of our post-pandemic, digital reality. I hold advanced credentials in trauma-informed assessment and intervention, integrative mental healthcare, and clinical mental health and nutrition consultation. In addition to clinical practice, I work as an Adjunct Professor and Campus Supervisor across various universities, with research lines centering on early psychosocial trauma, Psychological Intimate Partner Violence (P-IPV), and instrument design. In fact, I am lead author of the text "Covert Trauma Across the Lifespan: Viewing Psychosocial Trauma Through a Clinical Lens"—scheduled for release in Fall 2026 via Springer Publishing—the first comprehensive clinical resource of its kind, including a focus on phenomena such as narcissistic abuse, coercive control, gaslighting, parentification, and parental alienation—bridging the gap between clinical practice and contemporary culture. My further contributions to the field include: serving as a volunteer for the Florida Department of Health Crisis Management Team, scripting and acting in educational clinical demonstration videos, and designing, developing, and delivering board-accredited training programs for counselors and psychiatry residents—with a focus on psychoeducation, assessment, intervention, and client-centered collateral care. When off the clock, I kick it savagely low-key. In my opinion, the most sublime luxury in life is a great night's sleep! Otherwise, you can find me fumbling around on the acoustic bass, shamelessly reciting '90s hip-hop lyrics while cruising in the slow lane, binge-watching niche documentaries, attending stand-up shows, daydreaming of summers spent snorkeling in vivid tropical reefs, or expanding my highly curated collections of tiny boxes, rocks, boots, books, cats, and tats.

Hi there, I am Charly. As a clinical therapist, I admire your willingness to seek therapy support. I want to offer understanding, and empathic emotional support to assist anyone experiencing emotional distress. Most people tend to suffer silently in their heads, or minds, due to conscious or subconscious, self-blame, shame, or guilt feelings as they seem to feel helpless. Individuals experiencing acute emotional distress due to mental health conditions often fail to realize that unresolved, deep internal pain or heartache is silently triggering their emotional distress. One school of talk therapy called, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), proposes that the lack of the capacity for "Psychological Flexibility" and our brain's default, or Survival Mode functioning the instinctual responses of "Flight or Flight," as required for human survival. As, your therapist, I am willing to support you in exploring your difficulty or distress and examine the mental barriers or psychological blinders causing you to feel internally conflicted and stuck. Some of my past and current clients tell me that "my ability to relate to them with an open mind and withholding personal judgment and a solution-focused perspective," helps them to feel at ease and connect with me and my style of therapy. I follow an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from academic learning, experiential knowledge, and over 30 years of practicing experience using evidence-based treatment modalities based on scientific literature and up-to-date neuroscience research. I have training and experience in the following major treatment modalities such as CBT, REBT, SFBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and specifically to deal with trauma, a newer form of Rapid Eye Movement Therapy (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).

Maybe you've been handling things on your own for a long time. From the outside, you may even seem like you're doing fine, but something doesn't feel right. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, frustrated, or simply tired of dealing with the same problems over and over. Career changes, relationship difficulties, separation or divorce, becoming a parent, changes in family roles, or other life transitions can leave you questioning what's next. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My approach is collaborative, straightforward, and practical. Together, we'll work to understand what's keeping you stuck and develop strategies that can help you create meaningful change in your everyday life. Many of the people I work with are used to handling things on their own but have reached a point where something isn't working anymore. Hi, I'm Nick! I specialize in helping people navigate the complexities of relationships, divorce, and dating. Whether you're struggling to make a relationship work, facing the uncertainty of divorce, or trying to rebuild your confidence and find meaningful connections afterward, I'm here to help you move forward. My approach to therapy is direct, practical, and focused on meaningful change. I believe that understanding our struggles is important, but understanding alone isn't always enough. Real progress happens when we take what we've learned about ourselves and put it into action. Having experienced divorce and the challenges of dating myself, I understand how overwhelming these transitions can feel. I also know that it's possible to come out the other side with greater confidence, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose. My goal is to help you do exactly that: understand what's holding you back, identify what you truly want, and develop the confidence and skills to build a life and relationships you're proud of.

I am first and foremost a lover of people. My approach is authentic, supportive, empathetic, and understanding of the difficulties many experience in life having to manage mental health symptoms, feelings of being alone/misunderstood, dealing with the ramifications of historical trauma and the impact these can have on one's current relationships. My greatest strength is quickly building rapport and focusing on holistic wellness (mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically) and the connection between them. I am devoted to best care practices and excellent service delivery. I align myself well and tend to the immediate needs, desires, and goals of the person I'm working with. I don't believe that therapy is about learning to 'suffer less' but to work towards realizing one's full potential and highest level of functioning, identifying and working to resolve barriers that stand in the way, and developing the ability to trust in oneself, and one's ability to thrive in life. Every goal that is important to my client is important to me.

I completed my Masters in 2005, while also starting my journey in the field in 2004. I spent a year working in Opiate addiction but my true passion was children and families. I moved on to intensive services, working with underserved children and their families in rural areas, from 2005-2007. After leaving that position, I moved onto a company doing similar work. where I continued to work with children, families and adults that were underserved for 5 more years. I provided therapy in homes, schools and the office setting. I began to focus in on Trauma work as well as anxiety disorders to include OCD and all other anxiety disorders. After spending nearly 10 years in the field, I decided to get my license in the state of Florida (LMHC-Licensed Mental Health Counselor) and move into a management role where I worked for the past 13 years while also maintaining private clients. I supervise therapists, working to become licensed, so I spend a lot of time consulting on cases of all kinds. In this time I was also trained in various forms of trauma based cognitive behavioral approaches as well as EMDR (still learning however).

Are you experiencing frustration, confusion or turmoil in your life? Even to the point where you see no sense of direction while trying to navigate through life? At times, this can be overwhelming for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, including other mental health disorders. Hi! My name is Stephaney and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with almost a decade of experience in treating adults and adolescents for various mental health challenges and co-occurring diagnoses. I was inspired to become a therapist by my unique experience migrating to the United States at the age of 13 and attending middle school which was very challenging for me. Culture shock became my reality and one that would eventually lead me to “Severe anxiety.” Even with a very strong family support system, I felt alone and trapped by my own inner fears and self-defeating thoughts. Constant worry and fear of being bullied by my peers became my everyday experience. Through all these obstacles, I was able to process my feelings and experiences with my faith in Jesus Christ, supportive family, and a few good friends. To this extent, I have come to recognize the benefits of a strong support system and the need for social and relational connection. As a mental health counselor, I’m privileged to be a part of that support system for many people. I work with my clients to connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, and actions, all while providing sound strategies to promote healthier thought processes. I believe that every human being deserves a chance to be heard and understood, and therapy has taught me that as human beings, we are more alike than different. So as your therapist, I’m excited to be a listening ear for you and help guide you toward your goals.

Yes! If you use Tufts Health/Cigna you’ll be asked to verify your Member ID at the time you book the appointment. However, if you don’t have Tufts Health/Cigna you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
