Together we will uncover your strengths and you will learn the skills you need to better manage your emotions. I use several treatment methods including, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Integrative Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to tailor your care to your specific needs.
We will explore what is holding you back from achieving your goals and help you heal from past traumas. You will learn how your negative beliefs influence your mood and get in the way of your happiness. Often, we forget that everything is connected. Mind, Body, and Spirit. We need to take care of ourselves physically, psychologically, and spiritually. We often don’t really understand how deeply connected they are to our well-being. I’m Dr. Shadavia France, and I practice existential therapy. This approach is centered around helping you explore the fundamental questions and challenges of life, such as meaning, freedom, choice, and responsibility. It’s a bit different from some other types of therapy that might focus only on specific symptoms, as we look at your experiences in the context of your entire life and existence.
I’m here to walk alongside you as you make sense of these elements in your life. Rather than providing easy answers, I’ll encourage you to explore these questions deeply and find what feels fulfilling and authentic for you. Together, we'll uncover ways to live more intentionally and authentically in line with who you are at the core
