New to Grow
Therapy has been an important part of my own life, and I know how much healing can happen within a relationship where we feel—and are—genuinely understood. It is my experience that people rarely fit into simple explanations. We each arrive with a history, ways of coping that developed for a reason, and our own sense of what a meaningful life looks like. I approach each person with genuine respect and curiosity, without assuming I already know what their experiences mean or what is right for them. I want to understand the fuller story of who you are—not just the difficulty that brought you to therapy. From that understanding, we can look honestly at what is happening and determine what meaningful, lasting change looks like for you. Many people come to therapy because they’re struggling with something specific, while others arrive with a more difficult-to-name feeling that something isn’t quite right. They may feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, navigating a difficult relationship, grieving a loss, or simply sensing that something isn’t working the way it once did. I offer a space where you can show up as you are without needing to have everything figured out. I have worked extensively with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families through some of life’s most difficult and meaningful transitions. My approach is thoughtful, relational, and collaborative. Together, we’ll make sense of your experiences, explore the patterns that shape your life, and create space for greater understanding, growth, and change.
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’ve never done it before or if you’ve had experiences that left you feeling misunderstood. Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to learn about what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. We’ll talk about what is feeling difficult, what you’re hoping might change, and any questions or concerns you have about the process. There is no pressure to tell your entire story in one session. I move at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful of where you are. My goal is for you to leave our first meeting feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of whether we’re a good fit to work together. The relationship between therapist and client matters, and finding the right fit is an important part of meaningful therapy.
One of my strengths is my ability to balance compassion with honesty. Clients often tell me they feel deeply understood in our work together, while also feeling gently challenged to look at patterns that may no longer be serving them. My approach is grounded in genuine curiosity rather than judgment. I pay attention not only to symptoms and problems, but also to the larger story of your life, your relationships, and the ways you’ve learned to navigate difficult experiences. With more than 15 years of clinical experience across diverse settings, I draw from multiple therapeutic approaches while tailoring therapy to the unique person sitting in front of me. I believe meaningful change happens when insight is paired with a strong therapeutic relationship—one where you can show up fully as yourself and know that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many people reach out for therapy when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. They may be repeating patterns that no longer serve them, struggling in important relationships, questioning major life decisions, or feeling disconnected from themselves and the life they want to build. Over the years, I have come to believe that people are much more than the challenges that bring them to therapy. While symptoms and immediate concerns are important, they are often connected to deeper experiences, relationships, and life stories. Together, we can explore not only what is happening now, but also the factors that may be shaping your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine curiosity. I strive to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel understood, supported, and empowered to explore their experiences honestly. Whether you are seeking relief from current struggles, greater self-understanding, or a different way of relating to yourself and others, my goal is to help you move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and fulfilling.

Therapy is not about becoming someone different—it’s about understanding yourself more deeply and creating a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing and growth happen through a strong therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely understood, respected, and accepted, even when discussing the most difficult parts of your life. Together, we’ll explore patterns, relationships, emotions, and life experiences with curiosity and compassion, helping you move toward greater clarity, connection, and self-trust.
Many of our struggles emerge within relationships, and many of our opportunities for healing happen there as well. Using an interpersonal approach, I help clients explore relationship patterns, communication styles, life transitions, losses, and sources of conflict that may be affecting their emotional well-being. Through a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship, we can better understand these patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and create healthier, more fulfilling ways of relating to yourself and others.
I believe effective therapy begins with understanding you—your experiences, relationships, strengths, challenges, and goals. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw from different therapeutic perspectives based on what is most helpful for you. Some clients benefit from exploring deeper patterns and emotions, while others need practical tools, support through a life transition, or help navigating relationships. Together, we’ll create an approach that fits who you are, while building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, authenticity, and collaboration.
Mindfulness-based therapy invites us to pay attention to what is happening beneath the surface of everyday life. Many people find themselves reacting automatically to anxiety, self-doubt, relationship struggles, old wounds, or the expectations of others without fully recognizing how those patterns shape their choices. Together, we slow down and become curious about these experiences rather than immediately judging or trying to change them. Through this process, clients often develop a deeper understanding of themselves, greater flexibility in how they respond to difficult emotions, and a stronger connection to what feels meaningful and authentic in their lives.
Relational therapy recognizes that many of our deepest wounds—and many opportunities for healing—occur within relationships. Rather than focusing only on symptoms or problems, we pay attention to the ways you experience yourself in connection with others. The therapeutic relationship provides a space to explore familiar patterns, expectations, vulnerabilities, and strengths as they arise. Through this process, clients often develop a greater understanding of themselves, more satisfying relationships, and a stronger sense of authenticity and connection.
