Hello! I am delighted that you have considered me to be your new therapist. Over several years, I have found a special place in therapeutic services and have been amazed in how certain treatment methods or techniques significantly help clients and their families find healing. Whether that is wanting to feel better about a decision needing to be made, overcoming heavy feelings from a traumatic event or accepting how you were uniquely designed and that your existence matters. I'd like to acknowledge the strength it requires to take that first step of reaching out for help with your mental health from a therapist. I know it's not easy to begin the journey to better self understanding, compassion, and mastery.

I will pay attention to who you are as an individual, reflect back your strengths, and help you to tie together the seemingly disparate aspects of your life so that you realize how much sense you make, have compassion for all phases of your development, and leave behind what no longer serves you to find the life you've always wanted.
Together we can build up your sense of self, your resilience, and your ability to find peace of mind.

This means not only hearing about what brought you into my office, but also about the aspects of your life that bring you joy. Humor frequently appears in my sessions. The work in therapy can be challenging, but I believe it’s also important to be able to laugh with my clients, too.

Life can be complicated, and sometimes we find ourselves in places we never expected to be. Maybe you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or frustrated with patterns in your life or relationships. Maybe you have a pretty good idea of what's not working, but figuring out what to do differently is another story. Or maybe you're not quite sure what's going on, you just know something needs to change.
Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to have it all figured out before you start.
I offer online therapy for adults throughout California. We all need and deserve to feel seen, heard, understood, and accepted for who we are. Having a place where you can talk openly, sort through your thoughts and feelings, and explore parts of yourself you may not have had room for before can be incredibly powerful.
Finding the right therapist is personal. Sometimes you just get a feeling that someone is a good fit, and I encourage you to trust that. Whether that's with me or someone else, you deserve to find a connection where you feel comfortable being yourself.

I draw from CBT, IFS, mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients better understand themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.
I’m here to support you on your journey toward greater self-awareness and emotional well-being. In our individual sessions, we’ll explore how your past experiences shape your present feelings and behaviors, including any underlying self-doubt or anxiety. Together, we’ll examine the personal, relational, and cultural influences that have shaped your experiences, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your unique story.
Using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing, we’ll address the feelings associated with anxiety and self-doubt. I believe that healing involves both understanding our experiences and reconnecting with the wisdom of the body. Through exploring the stories you hold about yourself, increasing awareness of physical and emotional responses, and developing practical tools for coping, we can create new pathways toward growth and resilience. Together, we’ll create a safe space where you can express yourself freely, explore new perspectives, reconnect with your values, celebrate your strengths, and begin to feel more grounded, connected, and open to life’s possibilities.
Hola! Bienvenida/o.
I have been practicing for over a decade in various settings, including private practice, foster care, adoption, and community agencies. I am trained in evidence-based methods but my approach is to look at the individual's strengths. I help them look for solutions rather than be stuck in problem mode. I believe therapy is not a "one size fits all" approach but personalized care that will fit your needs.
