(she/her)
I’m Danielle Williamson, a trauma‑focused therapist who helps adults move beyond insight and into real, embodied change. I utilize Brainspotting, EMDR, and other modalities because they reach the deeper layers where talk therapy often can’t. My style is warm, collaborative, and paced to your nervous system — no pressure, no judgment, just a grounded space to finally feel unstuck and supported in your healing.
In our first session, you’ll step into a calm, welcoming space where we can slow down and get a sense of who you are and what you’re hoping to shift. I’ll guide the conversation with thoughtful questions about your goals, your strengths, and what’s been weighing on you, while keeping things grounded, human, and often a little light when it helps. My approach is collaborative from the start — we’re partners in this work, not operating from a top‑down model. By the end of our time together, my intention is that you leave feeling understood, supported, and with a clearer sense of the direction we’ll take together.
What stands out about my approach is the way I blend deep trauma modalities like Brainspotting and EMDR with a warm, grounded, human style. I don’t just help you understand your patterns — I help your nervous system actually shift them. Instead of pushing you to retell painful stories or power through coping skills, I guide you into the deeper layers where trauma is stored so real change can happen. Clients often tell me they feel safe, seen, and surprised by how much relief they experience when they’re no longer trying to “think” their way out of old survival responses. My work is collaborative, paced to your system, and focused on helping you feel different, not just think differently.
I work with clients who are insightful and self‑aware but still feel stuck in patterns their body won’t let go of. They’ve often done talk therapy and understand their story, yet anxiety, shutdown, or old survival responses keep showing up. My ideal clients are ready for deeper nervous‑system healing through Brainspotting and EMDR in a warm, grounded space where they don’t have to push or perform — just heal at the pace their system is ready for.

Danielle is engaging and high energy. She has a lot of modalities she uses. She has a very positive energy about her. I think we should be able to work together well. Other than a small computer glitch at the beginning, I think it went well. It’s only my first time with her, but I think she is a good choice for one’s therapist, especially for those undergoing effects from trauma experiences. .
