About me

Greetings, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of California and Texas. I have been in the mental health field for nearly 20 years. I specialize in treating couples and individuals with issues related to communication, infidelity, trauma, depression and anxiety. As a marriage and family therapist, I am trained to treat individuals with the goal of ameliorating symptoms and challenges that occur within the context of relationships.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session, I focus on building rapport with clients. This is accomplished by giving clients a safe place to share their story while validating their feelings and helping them to identify goals upon which they would like to focus.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I feel that my greatest strengths are caring, compassion, and honesty. Also, I focus on building rapport. Which leads to being able to provide care and interventions based upon my clinical expertise.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have a passion for working with couples, because as a marriage and family therapist, I specialize in relationship issues. I also focus on clients who have challenges that are not directly related to relationships such as depression, trauma, and anxiety. Many of my clients report that they appreciate the fact that they feel cared for by me.

My treatment methods

Compassion Focused

I have learned in my years as a therapist that the most important part of client growth and change is feeling cared for by the therapist. When that relationship is created and established, client's feel safe. This leads to implementing specific interventions that are helpful to the client as it pertains to change.
