I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. I earned a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from JFK University. I have over 10 years of experience helping individuals cope with the challenges they face in their lives. I have a specialty in treating individuals struggling with alcohol and substance use. I also have been trained in Brainspotting techniques that reduce the effect traumas and other upsetting life events have on a person's ability to find the happiness they want from life.
In our first session, we will explore what brought you to therapy. We will talk about the challenges you are facing as well as the areas of life you feel confident about. From there we will decide what concerns to focus on and develop a plan to get you where you want to be.
I am very empathetic and non-judgmental. I feel like it is an honor for a someone to share their story and challenges with me, so I treat my clients with respect and care. Former clients have said that I am easy to talk to and many have referred other clients to me.
I have completed Phase 1 & 2 of brainspotting training for treating trauma and other issues of concern.
