I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 5 years of nursing experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I earned my BSN from West Coast University and my MSN in Psychiatry from Walden University. When people experience traumas or some stressors, their daily lives become turbulent. I have passion in providing healing to my clients who have experienced some form of traumatic or stressful incidences. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors towards recovery from their mental illnesses.
Our first session involves welcoming clients to our safe environment so that they can feel at ease. Informed consent process for counseling is reviewed. I will explain role induction, expectations, and the benefits and drawbacks of any previous therapeutic experience that might affect our current collaboration. I will initiate forming the partnership and assisting my clients in determining our compatibility towards developing a strong therapeutic alliance. I will carefully listen to my clients' story to make them feel understood and acknowledged until I am invited by asking my opinion to help them out.
I collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic care that integrates biological, psychological, and social factors in an inclusive, accessible environment.
Setting goals is essential for monitoring therapy's efficacy and making sure the client and therapist remain focused on what matters most. To this end, I will set objectives and focus to provide organization to therapy so that the therapy and client are working towards specific goals. Having well-defined objectives prevent frustration or discouragement and help motivate clients and gives them a feeling of accomplishment when they reach target. By setting goals, you may track your development and determine whether the therapy interventions are working. Additionally, they provide clients a feeling of real improvement, which increases their self-confidence throughout therapy. My work includes psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and medication management for mood disorders, psychotic disorders, developmental disabilities, and chronic mental illness. I am passionate about building therapeutic relationships, promoting recovery, preventing suicide, and empowering patients through education and support.

She’s very direct and smart about what she does, i had one session with her and she has made me comfortable so far and i really like how open minded she is and how she listens and wants to find ways for you to heal, she’s very good at what she does and i like having someone who is direct so she fits perfectly with that. She’s also super sweet.
