Hello! I am Elizabeth Yurnet and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I attended Bowie State University for undergraduate school and University of Southern California for graduate school. I have 10 years of experience, and I work with clients who have anxiety, depression, and trauma with a focus on military mental health, maternal mental health, and women's issues. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma informed interventions, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
The goal is to overcome the stressors and difficulties of general life issues, relationship issues and mental health concerns. Clients will learn skill building, problem solving tools, relaxation techniques, increase insight and awareness, and identify personal themes that may be interfering in life.
My therapy style is eclectic and adapts to the unique needs of each client. With an eclectic approach we can work together regarding behavior, affect, sensation, imagery, cognition, and interpersonal relationships.
My ideal clients would be adults that are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and/or trauma who are ready to work on improving those symptoms.

I felt very comfortable sharing with Elizabeth, right off the bat. She seemed engaged and authetic in her behavior, tone and attitude. She was also funny and comfortable with herself and the mirroring she did with me was warm. I felt heard and understood and thats how we all want to feel.
