Hi there! My name is Marianne and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am Filipino, Chinese, and Spanish and born and raised in the Bay Area. I have been in the mental health field for 10 years and worked with children adolescents and adults from all cultures and socioeconomic status. In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Reviewing rules of therapy, answering numerous questions for assessment for specified mental health condition and obtaining family, medical, educational, mental health history, and establishing therapy goals, and creating therapy goals.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I incorporate art, music, yoga, and dance into my therapeutic techniques along with psychoeducation and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also utilize narrative therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.
