LCSW, 15 years of experience
New to Grow
Are your kids struggling? Do you feel lost, confused, and overwhelmed? Do you feel like everything you do is not enough? Life can be a challenge and going at it alone can be daunting. I believe each person has unique strengths, powerful potential, and an innate ability to heal and thrive. No matter the challenges you face, I believe in you and can provide tools to help you increase resilience, discover your strengths, get back on track, and connect to your success. I am a Licensed Clinician Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. Over the years, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a wide array of environments including schools, hospitals as well as county and community outpatient agencies.
Our first session together is a chance for us to get to know one another in a safe, supportive space. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, current concerns, and what you’d like to gain from therapy. This is not about judgment—it’s about gathering information so I can get a clear picture of your unique experiences and needs. We’ll also discuss what approaches may be most helpful for you and begin exploring how I can best support you on your journey toward growth, healing, and becoming your best self. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
I have had clients identify my strengths as my genuineness and approachability. I don’t view myself as the expert and therefore the leader. I am a team member that brings the knowledge I have gained through training and experience and together we can work on developing a plan that works for you and your family. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and their parents and have helped them navigate their family system to obtain better understanding and develop deeper connections.
I work with children in primary grades (ages 5–11), pre-teens, teens, young adults, and adults. For children ages 5–11, my work typically focuses on supporting parents and families, as telehealth may not be as effective as in-person therapy for this age group.
With over 15 years of experience as a licensed psychotherapist, I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach to CBT is warm, collaborative, and results-focused, empowering clients to identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their lives. Whether you’re struggling with day-to-day stress or long-standing emotional difficulties, I provide practical tools and compassionate support to help you feel more confident, resilient, and in control of your well-being.
I take an eclectic and integrative approach to treatment, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, trauma-informed care, and Gestalt-informed practices, I offer a flexible framework that supports growth, healing, and resilience. This approach helps clients develop practical coping strategies, process past experiences safely, and deepen self-awareness, while staying present to what arises in the moment. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you can explore challenges, reconnect with your strengths, and create lasting change.
