Hello, I am Margie, Do you ever feel like there is not enough time in the day? Are you increasingly feeling off (meaning, that you know something is going on that is causing a disconnect but you are not sure what it is)? I assist people with finding/repairing their focus on what is most important to them in order to avoid/lessen burnout. Together we can identify what is not working and develop a plan for how to address the areas of disconnection. Together we will work as a partnership to develop strategies to create "a present and future that makes you feel more fulfilled." In addition to focusing on the mind, body soul connection, I also integrate mindfulness, music and art to help you improve yourself. Throughout life's twists and turns, I am here to help. Seeking therapy is a huge step and for various reasons, many people do not. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can take ownership of "what I want, what I need and where I want to go."

Hello, my name is Christina and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Killeen, Texas. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Drury University. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Central Texas. I also have a certificate in Chemical Dependency and Addiction. I grew up as a military dependant (Army Brat) and later became a military spouse. I am familiar with military culture and the stresses that being in the military can put on those individuals who are serving plus their families. Growing up in a diverse military culture has helped me to be an open-minded, non-judgmental, compassionate, patient, and trauma-informed therapist. I also believe that everyone can benefit from counseling because sometimes life just gets too hard and we need a safe space to retreat, relax and regroup. I have worked with many individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. I would love to help you to navigate through your struggles as well.

I'm very pleased you are reaching out for help. For some, taking the first step toward counseling can be the hardest. I am in my 35th year of practice in the San Antonio area. I am very open to whatever works best for you (as long as it does not harm you or others). I provide high quality psychotherapy. Often there are many twists and turns as one becomes psychologically and socially healthier. It is my goal with every client to demonstrate empathy, kindness, and the utmost care I am able to provide. I never judge others. We are free to live our lives as we please. It seems to me many of my skills developed partially due to chronic low vision, and the problems that come with it. It is natural for me to perceive ones pain and distress, as I've dealt with my own. I appreciative you are considering me for the assistance you seek! It is a High Honor and Privilege to be invited into one's personal life to facilitate positive change.

Hello, I am an LCSW and have been in practice for 30+ years. I have worked in multiple settings and have learned that no one goes through life without challenges. Sometimes those challenges become overwhelming, and we find ourselves full of anger, fear, anxiety, confusion or deep sadness. You are not alone in this. If you are seeking therapy for the first time or have been in therapy before, please know that this is a safe place for you. All of us want to find a place of peace and joy in our life, but sometimes it feels like we are lost in a forest. I want to help you find your way out of that, to recognize your own path. I have a strong belief that we are in a constant state of change and adaptation in life and the secret is to realize and own our personal power. Peace is accomplished through balance, boundaries and new beginnings; those three work together and empower you. I look forward to helping you begin this next step of your journey and to find your power in that.

I’ve been a practitioner for the past 32 years. I’ve been lucky to spend my entire career doing what I love with amazing people. It is a joy and an honor to partner with someone and watch them heal and grow. My interests are playing with my dog Misha, traveling, reading, dancing, music of all kinds (although I am partial to the 80s), and rescuing Great Pyrenees dogs. I also love hanging out at the dog park and have made great friends there. As you can tell, I’m a crazy dog lady! I recently got engaged to the love of my life, who I met during my travels in Nepal. The second love of my life is my dog Misha, who likes to make an appearance on camera before she sleeps in my lap. I rescued sweet Misha from the streets of Hetauda, Nepal when she was a tiny, unweaned puppy whose mother died. I’m not sure who saved who!

I have been working in the field of mental health for 14 years. I have experience working with a diverse range of people and mental health disorders. My professional background includes experience in the inpatient, outpatient, and intake hospital setting; non-profit agency setting; and, most recently, private practice. This experience allowed me the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families utilizing a variety of unique interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, eye movement desensitization (EMDR), and sand tray. I specialize in the treatment of trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but I often take a client centered approach when building a trusting relationship with clients. Research shows that people who experience chronic mental health concerns have untreated trauma, which can occur from a variety of different experiences. Of course, trauma does not account for all mental health concerns, so it is important to be able to meet client's where they are at and provide interventions that are helpful to the individual needs of each client.

For my last year at the hospital, I worked primarily with active and retired military duty personnel. I have been in private practice for over 5 years and primarily work with individuals that are dealing with trauma, existential crises or are adjusting to interpersonal relational issues. I specialize in mood disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression and anger), processing trauma, and with improving relationships. I am a compassionate and caring counselor that focuses on a collaborative relationship with my clients to support and encourage healthy strategies to resolve life stressors. My goal is helping clients feel healthy and able to more fully enjoy life.

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." - Carl Jung. Hi, I am Stephanie! I am a licensed psychotherapist in both Hawaii and Texas and Board Certified in QEEG Neurofeedback. Building a warm, supportive, and empowering environment is crucial to helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals and ultimately live happier, more conscious lives. My naturally curious, non-judgmental, and caring personality helps clients to explore deep-seated emotions, have greater insight, and start to see real-life changes in the way they live, love, parent, and work. We are social beings searching for connection and meaning. Life's challenges can block us from true happiness and authenticity, jeopardizing our values, relationships, and sense of Self. I work to empower my clients through an authentic, humanistic, strengths-based perspective. I specialize in intergenerational trauma, addictions, parenting coaching, assertiveness training, couples, and family therapy. I see life as a journey of learning, where connection is key, and there is no time to waste giving away time and energy to the things that get in the way of serving our highest good. I invite you to connect and begin your healing journey today. I look forward to working with you!

Greetings! Thank you for taking the time to read this & congratulations on your first step to finding a therapist who’s right for you! My background is in trauma therapy, attachment focused, person-centered & cultural/relational model. Before I was a therapist I served in the military & love to work with women vets, LGTBQ+ veterans & folks in general & have a strong foundation in working with complex trauma & survivors of assault & intimate partner violence. I operate from an inclusive & anti-racist lens & work as a practitioner of Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) with kiddo clients & Internal Family Systems as well as Somatic Embodiment practices as a way of helping clients to integrate their system after trauma. My dog & cat are usually in the room as I exclusively am offering telehealth at this time, so if that sounds like a good fit do reach out & we will schedule a free 15 minute conversation!

"Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in our soul, and sings the tunes without the words, and never stops at all." Emily Dickinson "As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I bring a wealth of therapeutic expertise and an unwavering commitment to supporting individuals and families on their unique journeys. I view counseling as a collaborative, confidential partnership where my primary role is to provide an empathetic and non-judgmental space for exploration and growth. I employ a diverse array of therapy models and strategies, but I also recognize the immense power of simply listening and understanding. Together, we will delve into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, exploring their impact on both your personal well-being and your relationships with others. My approach is action-oriented and empathetic, geared towards identifying practical solutions for your current challenges, ultimately enhancing your outlook and circumstances. I understand that seeking counseling can be intimidating, and I want to assure you that my focus is not on judgment but on helping you resolve issues and make choices that align with your goals for a more fulfilling life. Sometimes, this may involve gentle challenges to facilitate personal growth, always rooted in a foundation of respect and empathy."

I believe that everyone can heal and grow, and my role as a therapist is to provide a safe and supportive environment to facilitate that process. So, let's put those bags down and start the journey towards healing and growth. When booking an appointment, please select a start time at the half hour mark.
