Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor for 15 yrs based at Laredo, TX. I can help you with issues related to self-esteem, grief, anxiety, depression, and past trauma. I work with trauma victims and women that suffered domestic violence. Currently, working with veterans and issues with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In our first session, I get to know the client and her needs. The focus is to build rapport and discuss treatment plan goals. The first session is for you to feel comfortable in session and build a rapport for future sessions. Any questions and concerns will be addressed until you feel comdortable to continue this healing process.

Ms. Valencia is a fantastic provider who is thoughtful, genuine, and can establish rapport quickly and effectively. She creates a safe environment so that one gets the most of time spent with her. She is thorough, considerate and very quick to grasp information and context. I particularly enjoy her sense of humor and how she can identify nuances in all of our exchanges.
