Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of Rio Grande Valley and have been practicing for 6 years. I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, and life adjustments and help clients identify their strengths. I have a special interest in working with parents and helping them through the parenting journey including parental stress and perinatal support.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us collaboratively create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. In our sessions, you can expect genuine empathy, validation, and support as we navigate through challenges and work towards positive change. It is my mission to empower clients to overcome obstacles, cultivate resilience, and live fulfilling lives aligned with their values and aspirations.
I believe the way to establish a healthy therapeutic relationship is providing a space where the clients feel heard, safe, and secure through consistency, respect, compassion, and unconditional positive regard. Assisting clients identify their strengths and potential is what drives my passion.
I enjoy working with clients eager to learn and work as a team to accomplish their goals.

Brenda is an extremely good therapist, she has helped me with learning so many tools and reassuring me that the things I'm learning are working and helping me be the best version of myself I can be. I cannot recommend her more, she has made me feel safe as a Non-Binary Pansexual who has been dealing with self isolation and anxiety. She makes you feel heard and seen and her feedback is always careful and considerate.
