As someone who personally embraces a journey of mental and emotional health, I am
thrilled that you, too, value your own. Welcome to your greater!
When asked why I have chosen this field, I always respond with, “It chose me”. I was
chosen to enter my own healing process and then pursue higher education at Sam
Houston State University to professionally qualify my purpose. I obtained my Bachelor's
of Science (2005) and Master’s (2009) degrees both from the illustrious college. Since
that time I have developed my skill set by working with individuals, couples, and families

Department of Family and Protective Services, and array of private practices.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Texas and Louisiana. I earned my Master’s degree in General Counseling & Guidance from Louisiana Tech University. My interest in mental health began in high school when I took a psychology course, and it grew as I worked at a mental health agency, where I realized my passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges.
I work with adults on a variety of concerns, including anxiety, anger management, family challenges, ADD/ADHD, ODD, career guidance, and academic difficulties. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and safe space where you can openly share your experiences and work toward meaningful goals. Together, we’ll explore strategies to manage symptoms, improve relationships, and enhance overall well-being.
Are you stuck in an endless loop in your life and feel there is no way out? Your self-esteem is shot, dealing with insecurities, and anxious about what to do next in your life. You turn to drinking, overeating, the internet, or binge watch Netflix to escape the internal and external stressors. You have tried so many different things to change your life, but nothing seems to work. You believe you are not enough and are afraid to ask for help.
I am here to help you. I believe therapy can change people's lives because therapy changed my life 30 years ago. I started working in the field of therapy 20 years ago as a Social Worker in Substance Use. I continued my work as a LPC working in a treatment center for drugs and alcohol doing therapy on the people who had addictions and the people that love someone with an addiction. Over the last 15 years I have gained experience in all the issues and Diagnosis that come with this population. I help people overcome addictions, co-dependency, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and trauma. My specialty is addressing sexual, emotional and physical abuse that is past abuse or current abuse and the PTSD caused by abuse.
People need a safe environment that is conducive to healing. I will meet you where you are to help move you in a direction to change. My direct and honest approach, with acceptance and care provide a safe place for my clients to heal. I work with the client in a collaborative effort to change their lives.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Case Manager with over 10 years of experience in helping others shift their circumstances from being "stuck" to progression and functionality. I enjoy helping clients determine the limitations of where they are and how it keeps them from getting to where they want to be. Together, I enjoy meeting clients where they are and collaboratively allowing you to guide the process of your personal growth.
Do you struggle with people-pleasing, low self-worth, or painful relationships that leave you feeling like you’ve lost yourself? Maybe you grew up in a family that looked “fine” on the outside but left you with invisible scars of trauma. You might find yourself replaying old patterns—turning to food, restriction, or overexercise to cope, feeling guilty when you try to set boundaries, or wondering why you keep choosing partners who don’t treat you well. If you’re exhausted from trying to hold it all together while doubting yourself inside, therapy can help you finally break free.
I am a licensed professional counselor living in the great state of Texas. I daily engage in reading, exercise, and quality time with my husband and children. I enjoy hearing the life stories of others, and addressing the wounds and toxic thinking that keep us bound in unhealthy choices and behaviors. I want to help you become a lifelong overcomer!

Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from Midwestern State University in Texas and have been practicing for 10 years. I help adults struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, and stress, and with navigating life transitions and changes, all with the goal of helping them to become the best versions of themselves. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, stress, and/or self-care.
I’m Carrie Allen, MS, LPC, NCC, a Licensed Professional Counselor providing trauma-informed, ethically grounded psychotherapy. I offer virtual therapy to clients located in Alabama, Missouri, Texas, and Florida.
My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care and guided by the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics, with an emphasis on cultural humility, client autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice.
I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences and am committed to fostering a therapeutic environment that prioritizes safety, dignity, and respect. I approach therapy with cultural humility and curiosity, recognizing that personal history, identity, environment, and broader social contexts can influence mental health, stress, and a sense of safety in daily life.
Many clients seek support while navigating anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, burnout, identity-related concerns, or major life transitions. My role is not to direct clients toward particular beliefs or identities, but to collaborate in a way that honors each client’s values, boundaries, and goals. I view clients as the experts on their own experiences and aim to support increased insight, emotional regulation, and psychological flexibility.
Whether you are seeking support for healing, growth, or stabilization, my goal is to provide therapy that is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your individual needs.
My name is Nguyen Bui, but you can call me Johnnie. I am a dedicated therapist with three years of experience working with adults and teens facing grief, anxiety, and trauma. With a background in education and experience working with mothers and Veterans, I understand the unique stressors that come with caregiving, service, and high-responsibility roles. You don’t have to keep managing this on your own. Healing is possible—and you are worthy of it!

If you're feeling sad or depressed, more irritable or angry with those around you, have difficulty bonding with your baby, anxious or panicky, problems sleeping, having upsetting thoughts that you can’t get out of your mind? There is no reason to continue to suffer alone or in silence. We can help walk beside you towards your healing journey.
Hi!, I'm Jacqueline, a Licensed Professional Counselor who truly gets the beautiful chaos of modern life because I'm living it right alongside you.
After earning my psychology degree from Texas Tech in three years (because I thought sleep was optional back then!) and my master's in Rehabilitation Counseling Psychology from UT Southwestern, I spent over a decade working at places like UT Arlington, Children's Medical Center, and UT Southwestern's Neuropsychology department. But my real education came when life happened – getting married and having multiple kiddos.
Suddenly, I wasn't just understanding anxiety and overwhelm from textbooks. I was the one eating meals with one hand while bouncing a baby, wondering if I'd ever feel human again, and trying to balance professional responsibilities with the complete identity shift that comes with motherhood.
Those experiences taught me what no graduate program could: what it really feels like to juggle everything while questioning if you're failing at it all. Now, after 20+ years of marriage and navigating the ongoing adventure of raising three kids, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to my work.
I specialize in helping women navigate anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges using evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. But what sets me apart is that I apply these tools through the lens of someone who has walked the same path.
Whether you're a young professional feeling overwhelmed, a new mom wondering where your identity went, or a working parent trying to find balance, I see you – because I've been you. My goal is simple: help you create a life you're thriving in, not just surviving. Because trust me, it's absolutely possible.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety, life transition, attachment, and grief. I began working as a counselor because of my own past traumas and hardships. Through my darkest days of depression and suicidal ideations, I found Jesus. With God's grace and other professional support, I learned the tools and skills to walk a life of freedom. Living a life full of hope and peace is my desire for everyone I work with.
I provide my clients with a collaborative, strengths-based approach and assist every person to be the author of their own life. To my core, I believe everyone deserves healing, transformation, and support to walk in their own freedom!
I am nationally trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, addiction, and trauma.
I enjoy traveling, reading, building relationships, and integrating spirituality as the source of my personal wellness.
I offer multiple modalities grounded in Christian therapy. The Christian-based approach uses the Bible as the authoritative and infallible Word of God to man. As such, it may be understood as the "how to" manual for the human mind. I have been a dedicated and compassionate advocate for clients with moderate to advanced therapy needs for several years and try to approach each client with compassion and respect. Throughout the years I have gained useful experience working with a wide range of population, while developing a speciality area in the treatment of women’s issues and challenges. We will work together to build a treatment plan that encourages your success.

My focus is offering behavioral health services to individuals who are seeking help with a variety concerns. I look forward to the opportunity to provide support and guidance as you move along your healing path.
Hey there! Do you find yourself feeling anxious, sad, frustrated, or having trouble coping with life transitions? That’s where I come in! I'm a LCSW based in Dallas, Texas. I earned my Master of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas. During the day I work in hospice care and when I’m not working I enjoy advocating for my fellow zebras, knitting, reading, and volunteering at UNT.
