You might be wondering if therapy is really worth it—whether it can actually help, and if it’s worth the effort it takes to find the right therapist, commit to sessions, and face difficult thoughts or past experiences. That uncertainty makes sense. Therapy asks for both courage and vulnerability, and it’s okay to feel unsure. In many ways, that uncertainty can be the first step toward meaningful change.
My approach starts with understanding you- who you are, what you’re dealing with, and how to best organize what you need. From there, we choose a direction that fits. Depending on your goals and comfort level, I may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or a more reflective, person-centered approach. The goal is to keep the work both meaningful and useful.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience and a graduate of Temple University. I own and operate a private practice in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, and work with clients across the lifespan, from young children to older adults. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma, and related concerns.
It’s also important to me to be responsive and get back to you quickly. I understand how much it can take to reach out for therapy, and I don’t take that step lightly!
