I focus on helping clients build assertive communication skills and healthy boundaries, both with themselves and with others, in ways that support a more balanced, fulfilling life.
Therapy is an opportunity for personal growth in whatever way you're seeking — whether that means navigating specific challenges or building the life you deeply deserve. If that’s what you’re looking for, I’m here when you’re ready.
Together, we’ll clarify the challenges you’re facing and identify where you want to be — a month, six months, or a year from now. Then, we’ll explore actionable strategies to help you move forward. You'll leave each session with a clearer understanding of your situation and a set of “next steps” you can begin right away.
There will always be space for feedback and collaboration in our work — including holding each other accountable as we walk this path together.
I am Crystal! I describe myself as warm and welcoming, but also authentic in providing a space for growth and accountability. I provide a space that will enable you to show up as your authentic self and leave evolved. I am here to help support you in your mental health and wellness journey by showing empathy, compassion, and wisdom. I enjoy helping others navigate this thing called life!

A Big Hello to you. You are scanning all these profiles. Looking for something to stand out to make you say,"I will go with this one." It is daunting but you have made it this far. Here is the tip. Your choice is not terminal. It is absolutely ok to try multiple therapists to see who gets you the best. Who understands you the best. After each session, you should feel lighter. You may not recall all that was said, but you will note how you feel. Did you feel heard? Understood? Did the therapist talk to me like they were reading a book or did it sound like they really got me? When you get the right one, those questions will be answered with a firm, Yes.

I’m a therapist who believes meaningful change comes from a combination of insight, accountability, and consistent action. My work is shaped not only by clinical training, but by a grounded understanding of adversity, resilience, and what it takes to rebuild and move forward.
I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck in patterns—whether related to trauma, stress, relationships, or major life transitions—and are ready to create something more stable and intentional. Many of my clients are navigating challenges such as emotional reactivity, impulsive behaviors, or difficulty maintaining consistency in their lives.
My approach is direct, practical, and focused on helping you develop the tools needed for real, lasting change. I use evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to support emotional regulation, stronger decision-making, and long-term growth.
I have a particular interest in working with individuals navigating recovery, reentry, and significant life rebuilding, while remaining open to anyone seeking clarity, stability, and a more grounded way of living.
I believe that every person is a light in this world, and that healing begins with reconnecting with one’s inner strength, inherent worth, and higher purpose. While each person’s story is unique, we all face universal challenges—navigating a competitive world, understanding who we are, finding meaning, and adapting to change. When stress becomes overwhelming or unmanageable, reaching out for support is an important step toward resilience.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in humanistic psychology, with an emphasis on personal growth, self-understanding, and thriving. While exploring the nature and impact of suffering is important, I think it is just as important to help clients develop practical strategies to restore balance, build insight, and move toward a more fulfilling life. I integrate techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), polyvagal theory, psychodynamic therapy, psychological "parts" work including Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailoring my approach to each individual’s needs.
I bring over 10 years of experience supporting individuals across a variety of settings. My background includes working as an outpatient therapist in a community mental health clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as serving as a college counselor. During my graduate training, I worked in child welfare within abuse and neglect court systems. Earlier in my career, I facilitated tobacco cessation groups in a public health setting and began my work in the helping professions as a certified nursing assistant supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and elder adults. Throughout these experiences, I have remained deeply committed to helping others heal, grow, and thrive.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about my approach. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

You are stressed and filled with anxiety. Your thoughts are negative and you lack self-confidence. You feel so overwhelmed by emotions that you no longer know what you feel. Or maybe you are emotionally shutdown and just feel numb. Past traumatic events cause you to react to life in unhealthy ways. Intrusive thoughts keep distracting you from what you need to do each day. And you don’t understand why or how to change it.
If any of this sounds familiar, there is hope! It is possible to retrain your brain and to develop different ways of thinking about life. You can stop automatically reacting and learn to thoughtfully respond to stressors. I would love to work with you and help you better manage thoughts and stressful emotions.
I’m a licensed therapist. I work collaboratively with clients to help them identify patterns, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is practical, goal-oriented, and rooted in empathy designed to support you wherever you are in your journey. I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and respect for each client’s lived experience. I don’t rush the process or impose quick fixes. Instead, I create space for reflection, emotional awareness, and nervous system regulation so clients can better understand themselves and make changes that feel sustainable and aligned.
As a therapist, I value honesty, clarity, and compassion. I balance thoughtful insight with practical tools, helping clients not only gain awareness but also apply what they’re learning in real life. I’m especially mindful of how culture, identity, relationships, and systemic stressors shape the way people move through the world.
At my core, I believe calm is not something you find—it’s something you practice. My role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself, strengthen your inner voice, and build a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and authentic.

Today you are one step closer to a new you, feeling empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.
As an Assistant Professor, Researcher, and Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy and a solution-focused therapist, I aim to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
On paper, your life may look like it’s together. You show up for work, take care of the people around you, and handle your responsibilities. But underneath that, you may be carrying anxiety, burnout, loneliness, relationship stress, or the constant pressure to keep it all together.
If you’ve spent years being “the strong one,” therapy can feel unfamiliar or even uncomfortable. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to perform, have all the answers, or pretend you’re okay.
My style is warm, conversational, and direct. I’ll meet you with compassion while also helping you recognize the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together we’ll build practical tools, increase insight, and create meaningful change that extends beyond our sessions.
I enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, boundaries, dating and relationships, family dynamics, burnout, and major life transitions. I serve clients throughout North Carolina and Illinois via secure telehealth.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep commitment to supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments. My clinical focus includes psycho-oncology, working closely with individuals and families affected by cancer, as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. I bring a compassionate, strengths-based approach that honors each person’s unique story, resilience, and needs.
In our work together, I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can safely explore your thoughts and emotions, gain insight, and build meaningful coping strategies. Whether you're facing a new diagnosis, managing ongoing mental health concerns, or seeking healing from disordered eating, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, clinical expertise, and unwavering support.
My therapeutic style is collaborative and person-centered — I believe that healing happens through connection, understanding, and a shared commitment to your growth and well-being.
I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who believes that feeling safe, understood, and genuinely supported is the foundation for meaningful change. With over 15 years of experience across schools, hospitals, crisis settings, and community-based care, I’ve had the privilege of working with people at many different stages of life—from teens navigating overwhelming emotions to adults facing complex life challenges.
My background as both a counselor and school social worker has given me a deep understanding of how early experiences, family dynamics, and life transitions shape who we are. I’ve supported students and families through anxiety, emotional struggles, and difficult situations, and I carry that same patience, empathy, and advocacy into my work with all clients.
I’ve also worked in high-intensity environments—including crisis settings, alongside law enforcement, in hospitals, and with veterans, survivors of trauma and domestic violence, and individuals in eating disorder treatment. Because of this, I’m comfortable supporting clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin.
In our work together, I focus on creating a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I balance practical tools and coping strategies with deeper exploration, helping you not only manage what you’re going through, but also understand it. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you—whether you’re looking for structure, insight, or simply a place to feel heard.
Reaching out for therapy can be hard, but you don’t have to do it alone. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more in control of your life.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy , Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions.
I work with adults navigating issues such as:
Struggling with Depression
Anxiety and panic disorders
Grief and loss
Relationship and attachment issues
Life transitions (divorce, career change, etc.)
In our work together, I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and empowered. Healing isn’t linear, and I believe therapy should move at your pace. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking deeper self-understanding, I’m here to support you.
Hello, I'm Katheryn! Maybe you're the one everyone leans on. You take care of your kids, your partner, your parents, your work, your home- and somewhere along the way, you stopped taking care of yourself. You may feel tired all the time, overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or like you've lost pieces of who you are. Maybe motherhood feels harder than you expected. Maybe you're carrying grief, stress, or loneliness that no one really sees. Maybe your children are growing up and needing you less, and you're wondering what comes next for you. You don't have to hold all of that alone. I work with women in all stages of life who are dealing with stress, loss, and emotional overwhelm. Whether you are adjusting to motherhood, struggling with postpartum depression or anxiety, caring for aging parents, grieving an empty nest, or simply feeling stuck and exhausted, therapy can give you a place to breathe, process, and feel supported again.
Hi, I’m Sara, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and seasoned therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience, including service as a U.S. Navy Mental Health Officer. I work with adults and older adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, identity concerns, and major life transitions. I also have specialized experience supporting military members, veterans, high-performing professionals, individuals from high-conflict family systems, and those healing from religious trauma, coercive control, or high-control environments.
My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I integrate evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, CPT, attachment-based work, and parts-focused approaches to help clients better understand themselves, heal from painful experiences, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready for something different, therapy can become a space to build insight, strengthen resilience, reconnect with your values, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, empowered, and aligned with who you truly are.
I provide individual and family therapy using a person-centered, collaborative approach that meets you where you are—without judgment and without pressure to be “fixed.” I view therapy as a partnership, and I work alongside clients to support meaningful, sustainable change.
My approach focuses on helping clients identify their strengths, increase self-awareness, recognize support systems, and take accountability in ways that promote growth rather than shame. I use an eclectic, evidence-based framework, drawing from Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-based practices. Interventions are always tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and lived experiences.
My work is grounded in a few core beliefs: people are doing the best they can with the skills they have, people are capable of change, and people do get better. I also believe that a strong therapeutic relationship creates the safety necessary for healing and growth.
To support progress outside of sessions, I may offer practical, collaborative between-session exercises that help clients apply skills in their daily lives.
I am a Christian counselor, and my faith informs my values of compassion, dignity, and respect. I work with individuals from all backgrounds, beliefs, and identities, and faith is incorporated into therapy only when requested by the client.
In addition to my professional role, I am a wife, lifelong learner, and mother of three, including a son on the autism spectrum. These experiences deepen my empathy and understanding of caregiving, advocacy, and navigating complex systems.
