Ray Grizzel taught college psychology courses for 31 years, including creating and teaching ones on The Art and Science of Relationships, Parenting, Death, and Change, Challenge, and Resilience. Using the information and experiences of helping people in a group setting during that time period, he is aware of the personal and significant issues that trouble and challenge people. Hello My name is Kianna and I have been working in the mental health field for more than 25 years. I attended undergrad at Colgate University where I studied Sociology and Biology. There I developed a passion for Mental Health and a thirst to understand why people do the things we do. I attended the Syracuse University School of Social Work and majored in Mental Health. I have worked with diverse populations of all ages since then and came to find that I enjoy working with people who have come from disadvantaged backgrounds, people of color, women, Autists, and persons living with Anxiety and Trauma of all kinds. Trauma comes in many forms and the abuser can be a member of your family, a stranger and even your society.

I want to dismantle the stigma that many communities carry about seeking help for mental challenges and show people that everyone can benefit from a better relationship with themselves.

Welcome! I am a Haitian American therapist who understands how culture, identity, and lived experience can shape our mental health. I have a number of eight plus years of experience working in preventive services, crisis intervention and providing therapy services. I provide a safe, affirming space where you can show up fully as yourself without judgement. I recognize deeply and respectfully that people hold more than one social, cultural, or personal identity such as race, gender, disability, religion, immigration status, sexuality or professional status, and that those layered experiences cannot be reduced to a single label. I believe healing happens when you feel seen, heard, and respected. Together, we'll explore your strengths, and work through challenges in a safe space.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in cultural understanding while supporting you as you work toward balance, clarity, and emotional well-being.
Great to meet you!
I want you to know that when you come into therapy with me, you don’t have to pretend, minimize, or hold everything together. You get to show up exactly as you are — we take it from there together. My favorite part of this work has always been sitting with people one‐on‐one. That’s where real connection and real healing happen. I genuinely enjoy getting to know who you are, what you’ve been carrying, and what you’re hoping might feel different.
My style is warm, steady, and honest. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you understand the experiences and patterns that are shaping your life. I’m also practical — I like to offer tools and strategies you can actually use in your day‐to‐day life, not just in the therapy room. I work with people dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, major transitions, and substance use concerns. Something I tell clients often is this: I don’t want you to just feel better — I want you to be well. Feeling better can be temporary. Being well means building insight, healing, and lasting change.
When you work with me, you get someone who shows up fully — present, steady, honest, and genuinely invested in your well‐being. I’m not here to give you quick fixes or surface‐level advice. I’m here to help you understand yourself more deeply, heal what’s been ignored or pushed aside, and build a life that feels more grounded and true to who you are. My style is warm, direct, and deeply human. I listen for the things underneath your words — the patterns, the pain points, the strengths you might not yet see. I’ll challenge you gently, support you consistently, and help you make sense of what’s been getting in the way.
I believe that therapy is a guided process in search of your serenity. In order to foster change, it will take a collaborative effort to meet your needs. The foundation of my approach focuses on trauma that has not been dealt with, which has now manifest into undesirable behavior. I pride myself on providing you a safe space to be vulnerable, a connection that builds an alliance, an active ear so you feel heard and warm experience that will restore hope for a better tomorrow.
Hello! I’m Michelina, though you can call me Michelle. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 12 years of experience, based in Pennsylvania. I hold a Master’s degree from Fordham University, and my focus is on helping adults navigate the challenges of anxiety and depression. Together, we work as a team to manage symptoms and guide you toward becoming the best version of yourself.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience in working in the mental health field. Life is a journey with many unexpected disappointments, life challenges and experiences. I am here to help you manage your journey and to be the best version of yourself.. Whether you feel stuck, you need support in figuring out what your next steps are or need to find new tools and strategies to move forward in your life, I am here to help you get back up and on you way again. My goal is to create a space where clients can authentically express themselves without fear of judgment or misunderstanding and to empower individuals to present their true selves confidently to the world.
I aim to help clients embrace all parts of themselves as they heal and grow.
You are the narrator of your story and I am here to guide and help support you through your journey.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years building businesses, developing products, leading teams, and working with high-achieving professionals in demanding environments. Today, I bring that perspective into my clinical work, helping clients who may look highly successful on the outside while feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. I understand the pressures that can accompany achievement, including perfectionism, burnout, career transitions, relationship challenges, and the feeling that your external persona no longer matches how you truly feel. My goal is to help clients understand what is keeping them stuck, reconnect with what matters to them, and develop practical strategies to move forward. I work with clients navigating career challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Whether you are struggling to make a career decision, recovering from a difficult experience, questioning an identity built around achievement, or simply know that something needs to change but aren't sure how to move forward, therapy can provide a space to step back, gain perspective, and create a path forward that feels both meaningful and sustainable.
