I am a master’s level licensed clinical mental health counselor (LMHC), (LPC) and credentialed SUD Counselor (CASAC-A) (CADC II) with training and expertise in both Cognitive Behavior Therapy as well as psychodynamic treatment. I work with young adults and adults and have expertise in treating patients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, compulsive, addictive behaviors and domestic violence. I have specialized training in various evidence-based treatments for trauma such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I hope to help patients learn effective ways to cope with stress, manage difficult emotions and communicate well with others. We have all acquired ways of coping that get in the way of our development, and manifest as emotional pain, such as anxiety and depression. I work with clients to identify and reduce these painful symptoms. Clients are then freer to use their energy in pursuit of their goals. I work with young, midlife, and older adults. I develop a safe and collaborative relationship with clients. In that context, I do short and long-term psychotherapy and train clients to use specific protocols to modify symptoms that are in the way of personal and professional functioning. My approach provides support, guidance, and education to help you become the best version of yourself and work towards achieving your goals. I consider it an honor to work alongside you, and I look forward to meeting you soon.

I work with adults who want support navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and identity-related concerns in a space that feels affirming, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I predominantly work with young men struggling with social anxiety disorder. Do you struggle with social anxiety and poor self-confidence? I know that overcoming it is possible! Many come to therapy for social anxiety because of childhood trauma and how it has manifested in their adult lives. Often this manifests in feelings of poor self-confidence, poor self-worth, and poor self-confidence. At its root, the fundamental belief of those who have social anxiety is the belief, “I am not enough.” Clients get into the habit of comparing themselves to others and it makes them feel inadequate and insecure. Over time clients begin to avoid situations that elicit their anxiety, particularly social situations. This can lead to social isolation and loneliness. Clients will present with complaints of frequent panic attacks, not having a romantic partner, not having friends, not being happy in their jobs and feeling disconnected from life. They are labeled by others as shy, quiet, or introverted. This scenario described myself for much of my life which gives me lived experience to better able to assist you. I help individuals combat their social fears and begin to live a rich and fulfilling life. I do this through cognitive behavioral therapy techniques primarily but also integrate solution-focused therapy, assertiveness training, exposure therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. Whether you're a teen struggling to make friends and socialize or you are an adult unable to speak up at work meetings or unable to ask someone out on a date, I'm here for you! Seeking therapy can be frightening but I want to assure you that you will be most welcome if you take that leap of faith!

My name is Tatiana, and I’m glad you’ve taken this brave step toward support. Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and it’s normal to feel anxious or unsure in the beginning. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with a diverse range of clients, including those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and life transitions. I take a client-centered approach, believing therapy should focus on what feels most important and comfortable for you. I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness. CBT helps identify and challenge unhelpful or intrusive thoughts, allowing for healthier, more balanced thinking—especially helpful for anxiety. A solution-focused approach emphasizes strengths and views challenges as manageable and solvable. When working with substance use concerns, I utilize motivational interviewing to foster motivation, insight, and meaningful change. Mindfulness techniques support grounding, present-moment awareness, and relaxation. Together, we will build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and strengthen your ability to manage life’s challenges. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I am here to support you as you work toward emotional balance, self-confidence, and a more fulfilling life.

Psychotherapy as a vocation called me in my early 30s - a paradigm shift, resulting from a series of personal breakdowns, breakthroughs, and ultimately, personal discovery. Guided by caring therapists into a new, integrated sense of self, I realigned my passions and skills with a life purpose. In preceding Life's chapter, I studied art and design in college, and for years apprenticed under my father - the Architect, as it was decided I am to follow in his footsteps. Wanting to please, I indeed followed, yet uncovered greater fulfillment exploring the architecture of the human psyche and mind. Having painstakingly changed course, my gratitude never expired and only keeps me inspired to provide support to others.

Hi and Bienvenido! Therapy is about having a space where you can feel heard and supported without judgement. My goal is to walk alongside you as you work through life's challenges-whether that's grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or major transitions. I believe it is important to be encouraging and supporting during the client's stage of life and helping build practical tools for change.

I love working with people who feel drawn to explore their inner world, who sense there’s something meaningful waiting to be discovered but aren’t sure where to start. They long to feel more connected to themselves and others, and are looking for gentle guidance to help them get there. They want to understand the heart of what keeps them stuck in old patterns and finally feel the freedom of being their true selves.

I will let people with whom I worked over the years tell you about me: "Joel focuses on the issues at hand, because he listens very intently. Doesn't get into any psychobabble and provides clear insight to moving forward. Joel encouraged positive takeaways from all sessions." "He s attentive, professional, personable, and kind." "We were able as a family to have Joel's ear as an outside observer. He could extract the most important take away from all that we were working on together and put them into concrete terms. It helped bring clarity and structure to all the things we were trying to do. Having appointments with Joel also helped us to be accountable for the work. Therapy is work. We have to consciously make changes to see the improvements... Joel helped us to stay accountable. " When I came to see Joel I was in a bad place - personally and professionally. I was dealing with unresolved grief and that was impacting my habits and behaviors. After a few short sessions with Joel I started the road back to being the person who I believe myself to be. It has been about 6 months since my first session with Joel - I am now working a good job, I have returned to a hobby that I love and I just completed my first semester of a degree program towards a more rewarding profession (and earned a 4.0 GPA!). Joel helped me realize that I had the ability to determine my own course in life and helped me develop positive habits to achieve my goals." If you want to know more you can visit www.0to10.net.

I would like to introduce myself. I am a therapist with over 20 years of experience working in the counseling field. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Gannon University. My career has spanned diverse clinical settings, giving me a broad perspective on mental health. I have been told by clients that I am easy to talk to and create a safe, trusting space in sessions. I have a small family that I love to spend time with. Personally, I love to be outdoors as much as I can and have many outdoor hobbies. I enjoy working as a mental health therapist; I find the process of exploration and people's growth to be fulfilling.
