I’m a licensed clinical social worker who works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I understand how easy it is to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, especially when you’re trying to manage everything on your own. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your needs. I aim to create a space where you can slow down, better understand what you’re going through, and begin to make meaningful, lasting changes at a pace that feels right for you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk through what you’ve been experiencing, any challenges you’re currently facing, and what you’re hoping to get out of the process. I may ask questions about different areas of your life to get a fuller picture, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, heard, and able to speak openly. We’ll also begin to explore what might be most helpful moving forward and discuss how we can work together in a way that feels collaborative and aligned with your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and not judged. I take a collaborative approach and aim to make the process feel human and approachable, which at times includes using humor to help ease tension and build connection. I work with clients to better understand what is keeping them stuck while also identifying practical ways to move forward. I balance insight-oriented work with concrete tools so that therapy is not only about understanding your experiences, but also about having strategies you can use in your daily life. My approach is flexible and non-pathologizing. I see you as a whole person with a unique story, not a set of symptoms to fix. In our work together, I do not focus only on thoughts and words. I also help clients access and engage with deeper emotions, and when it feels appropriate, I incorporate body-based practices to support greater awareness, regulation, and connection. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more in control of your responses, and more confident navigating challenges in a way that feels sustainable and meaningful.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. Many of the clients I support are navigating anxiety, low mood, or difficult life transitions, and may be struggling with self-doubt, overthinking, or patterns in relationships that feel hard to break. You might be someone who is used to holding things together on the outside, but internally feels drained, disconnected, or unsure of what you need. You may be looking for a space to better understand yourself, manage intense emotions, and develop more effective ways of coping. I also work well with clients who are open to a collaborative process and interested in both gaining insight and building practical tools. Whether you're new to therapy or returning to it, I aim to create a space where you feel supported, grounded, and able to make meaningful, lasting changes.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities to meet each client where they are. Rather than relying on a single framework, I tailor my work to the individual, considering their unique experiences, goals, and the specific challenges they’re navigating. In practice, this means integrating different approaches depending on what feels most helpful and effective in the moment. I may incorporate insight-oriented work to better understand patterns, while also using more structured, skills-based strategies to support emotional regulation, coping, and day-to-day functioning. This flexibility allows therapy to feel both meaningful and practical. My experience working with clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions has reinforced the importance of an approach that can adapt over time. I aim to create a space that is collaborative, responsive, and grounded in your strengths, while helping you build tools that support lasting change and a greater sense of stability.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions. Many clients I work with feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, avoidance, or self-criticism, and ACT offers a way to move forward without needing to eliminate those experiences entirely. In my work, I use ACT to support clients in building awareness of their internal experiences while learning how to respond to them with more flexibility and self-compassion. This often includes mindfulness-based strategies, values exploration, and helping clients take small, meaningful steps toward the kind of life they want to live, even in the presence of discomfort. Across my clinical experience, I’ve found ACT to be especially helpful for clients navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I focus on making these concepts practical and relatable so clients can feel more grounded, less controlled by their thoughts, and more connected to what matters most to them.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I incorporate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify what’s already working and build on their existing strengths. Many clients come into therapy feeling stuck or overwhelmed by their challenges, and this approach shifts the focus toward possibilities, progress, and achievable change. In my work, I use SFBT techniques to help clients clarify their goals, explore moments when problems feel less intense, and identify practical steps they can take moving forward. This often includes highlighting strengths, reinforcing small wins, and collaborating on realistic, solution-oriented strategies that can be applied in daily life. My experience across clinical settings has shown that even small shifts can create meaningful momentum. I aim to help clients feel more empowered, capable, and supported as they work toward change, while keeping therapy focused, collaborative, and grounded in what matters most to them.

Trauma Informed Care

I approach my work through a trauma-informed lens, recognizing the ways past experiences can shape how we think, feel, and relate to others. Many clients I work with carry the impact of complex or overwhelming experiences, which can show up as anxiety, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, or a persistent sense of being “on edge.” In my work, I prioritize creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and grounded in choice and collaboration. I move at a pace that feels comfortable for each client, helping them build awareness of their responses while developing tools for emotional regulation and stability. This often includes integrating mindfulness, body-based awareness, and strengths-focused interventions to support healing. My experience working with trauma across community and clinical settings has reinforced the importance of an approach that centers safety, empowerment, and trust. I aim to help clients feel more in control of their experiences, strengthen their sense of self, and move toward healing in a way that feels manageable and sustainable over time.
