Life transitions, relationships in flux, maybe you haven't felt like yourself recently. Navigating hard emotions that keep you up a night, or preoccupy thinking, might be holding you back from enjoying activities and relationships you once did. Reasons for seeking therapy are unique and individual to you. You are deserving of a therapist who will build a space for you to be vulnerable with your story and emotions. Together, we can build a path forward through empathetic processing, acceptance, skill building, and goal planning.
Therapy is like a compass, it doesn't provide all the answers, but it provides direction. Focusing on your strengths, presenting problem, and future goals, our time together will be spent targeting false thoughts, realizing potential, and building trust in yourself.
My name is Dr. Olushola Bakare, and my work centers on helping people recognize the strengths they already carry. I work with adults and older adults who are ready to feel more grounded, confident, and understood, in a space that is safe, warm, and free of judgment. To help make sure we are the right fit from the start, I want to be upfront that my practice does not currently include couples counseling, medication management, or completing disability, FMLA, or legal paperwork. Personally, I went into this field wanting to understand myself more and others around me. I believe people are the experts of themselves and I get the honor to hold space and help connect the dots. Outside of Therapy I am a writer and a poet. I am a former peer educator. I'm passionate about creating a space where someone can find the best version of themselves because it was a gift that was given to me. Also, fan of basketball and Women's sports. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps you work through anxiety, ADHD, stress, and relationship patterns that keep you feeling stuck. I use CBT and hypnotherapy to help you not only understand what’s going on, but actually change the patterns that aren’t working for you. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and practical. I want you to feel understood, supported, and more in control of your life.
As a neurodivergent Black woman living with a chronic illness and mother of three adult children, two of whom identify with the LGBTQ+ commmunity, I am always interested in the deeper question people carry about their lives. Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful, capable people who have spent years showing up for others, meeting expectations, and doing what seemed like the responsible thing to do. At some point, though, many begin to notice a quiet sense that something no longer fits.
My work centers around helping people slow down enough to understand what is actually happening beneath that feeling. Together we look at the patterns, experiences, and internal narratives that shape how you see yourself and the choices available to you. From that place, people often begin to rediscover a clearer sense of who they are and what direction their lives might take moving forward.
I am especially drawn to working with adults navigating identity shifts, relationship transitions, and moments in life where the path forward is no longer obvious.

Hi, my name is Debbie.
Are you struggling with anxiety, fear, depression, anger, disappointment, trauma or difficult relationships?
I have worked with all ages and walks of life in my 25 years of experience. As a seasoned therapist. I believe that a successful outcome of therapy goals begins with a harmonious relationship with the client. This begins with a clear understanding of the needs and desires of the client.
My approach is to have a kind, caring and sensitive demeanor, yet, direct and firm as needed to achieve success. I strive to listen well and give appropriate feedback.
I attribute my successful record as a therapist to having the education, knowledge, work experience, and confidence to work with each client and consider it a privilege to work with each one.
I would be honored to work with you.
My path to counseling has been shaped by more than 20 years of experience working in
universities and nonprofits across the U.S., including two decades in academic medicine and
biomedical research administration. As a former biomedical researcher and a leader in administrative research operations, I understand the pressures of high-achievement environments, the complexity of
navigating institutional systems, and the emotional toll that can come with careers in science,
healthcare, and technology. This unique perspective allows me to connect deeply with students,
academics, and professionals working in demanding fields.

Hi. My name is Christine Toler, Chris, and I earned my Ed.S and LPC- MHSP in the state of Tennessee, New Jersey and Delaware. I have been licensed as a Professional Counselor since 2010, and a School Counselor since 2006.
I started being a believer in therapy when it first helped me over forty years ago, (as a child). I thought what a wonderful way to get to the root of the problem... and get rid of it. Since then, I have been working on myself as a client as well as acquiring a licensure to help others, including teens, adults and families. I focus on solution based and non-judgmental cognitive therapy. I believe understanding a problem is not the end of the work. (unfortunately)
The action we take to support a positive change... is what changes lives. And while I have experienced that in some very important areas... I continue to grow... daily. I choose to be transparent about that because I believe it is important to the work that my clients know I understand how it feels to be in their chair.
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, doubt, guilt, grief, or all of the above, I believe I can help you.
