Hi there! I specialize in anxiety disorders including OCD, panic attacks, social and generalized anxiety, and phobias. I use exposure and acceptance-based therapies among others. I also treat depression, relationship issues, grief, parenting, and others. We will work to empower you with 'a voice and a choice' so you can voice your needs and choose your life circumstances as much as possible.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Therapy here is a safe, nonjudgmental space to process the past, own the present, and feel hopeful about the future. We can work to improve self-esteem and relationships, learn ways to manage emotions, learn coping skills, and work toward other goals you choose.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I care deeply about my clients and strive to make people feel safe and supported. I am solution-focused and provide practical steps toward healing in every session.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT helps us manage our emotions and live the life we want, even if uncomfortable emotions come along for the ride.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT looks at our thoughts and actions to see if they're helpful, and if we'd like to make any changes that can improve our mood and life.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is a style of questioning that helps you clarify your priorities, goals, and values so you can make changes accordingly.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma-informed care is considerate of your past traumatic experiences and careful to support you in a compassionate and helpful way.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

Exposure therapy for anxiety disorders can feel a bit uncomfortable but it works well to desensitize and reduce distress. This is the main treatment approach for OCD rather than talk therapy.
