Hello, I'm Laura, a licensed therapist with a doctorate in psychology dedicated to helping individuals and families find healing, hope and direction through life's challenges. I provide therapy for adolescents and adults who are navigating issues such as grief, depression or anxiety. My goal is to provide a safe and welcoming space where you can explore your story, develop coping skills and grow emotionally .
Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep.
I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for several decades. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread, and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I have published several articles and a book on sleep and am the director of the insomnia course for the World Sleep Academy, as well as a member of the Outreach and Public Education Committee, Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues on a limited basis. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all, people.
I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people appreciate working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected, and I am even able to do hypnotherapy via telehealth.
I am joining Grow Therapy coming from Mainspring Recovery, where I had been serving as the Clinical Supervisor. I have 17 years of experience in behavioral health, with a concentrated focus on mental health and substance abuse. My extensive experience in dealing with and treating substance abuse has placed me at the frontlines of mental health care.
My career has been marked by clinical leadership positions, including roles as a Team Lead providing clinical supervision to behavioral health practitioners and as a highly sought-after mental health consultant and advisor. My leadership and expertise have been instrumental in improving the quality of care in various settings.
I hold both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the University of Central Missouri. Additionally, I possess numerous certificates and training in mental health, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia, Maryland, DC and Missouri.
My name is Thomas Barhorst, and I started counseling in 2004. In addition to having a small private practice shortly after I received my Missouri license in 2007; I have worked as a K-12 school counselor, in substance use treatment, in a residential treatment setting, in a community mental health agency, helping individuals with disabilities transition into the workforce, and helping graduate students manage stress in their professional programs (i.e. medical school, dental school, etc.). Recently, I have begun providing telehealth therapy after obtaining licensure in Arizona and California.
Outside of work, spending time with family and friends is important to me. I also enjoy stories, laughing, listening to stand-up comedy, cooking, playing sports like wallyball and ultimate frisbee on a non-competitive level, watching film noir and psychological thrillers, recently had the opportunity to take my car to a racetrack, and have played bass guitar in a rock band.
I am a licensed clinical therapist in the states of New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia, Delaware, Illinois, and Missouri with 10 years of professional clinical work experience. My focus of practice is individual therapy within the adult and adolescent psychiatric population. I have years of experience treating patients experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, mood instability, or anger management.

Many of the women I work with are extremely capable and successful in their careers, yet they feel frustrated that food seems to be the one area of life they cannot fully control. I also provide specialized coaching programs for clients who want to go deeper into transforming their relationship with food and building sustainable health habits. Hello, I’m Dr. Felicia Spratt, Ed.D, LPC, a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and support. I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, and family conflict. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward, and my goal is to help them make sense of what feels heavy while identifying practical steps toward healing and growth.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and solution-focused. I believe that each person brings strengths into the therapy space, even when life feels difficult. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, trauma-informed care, and family-based strategies to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I have particular experience supporting adolescents and young adults who may be struggling with impulsivity, anger, family challenges, or high-risk behaviors. I also work with adults who are balancing multiple responsibilities and seeking ways to manage stress, process past experiences, and regain a sense of emotional stability.
Clients who work with me can expect a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard and supported. My goal is to help you build resilience, gain confidence in your ability to handle life’s challenges, and take steady steps toward becoming the healthiest version of yourself.
I believe that every person possesses the inner strength and resources needed to find happiness and healing. As a transgender woman, I understand both the internal and external forces that can stir self-doubt, amplify fear, and lead to deep feelings of loneliness and uncertainty. I also know—through both personal and professional experience—that self-acceptance and joy are not only possible, but also within reach. Science consistently shows that those who seek support often find meaningful relief and lasting change.
I bring to my practice a mindfulness-based approach grounded in compassion, presence, and affirmation. My work is especially focused on serving the LGBTQAI+ community, though I warmly welcome anyone seeking an empathic, nonjudgmental partner in their journey toward a more fulfilling life.
In addition to my clinical work, I have served as an adjunct and visiting professor at Washington University in St. Louis, and as professor and dean of the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. My academic and clinical experiences have always been deeply interconnected, and both continue to inform my commitment to human dignity, resilience, and transformation.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping people heal from anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I specialize in working with women, children, and BIPOC clients seeking emotional balance, confidence, and clarity. Using EMDR, mindfulness, CBT, and trauma-informed care, I guide clients to break free from stuck patterns and create lasting, meaningful change. I am a client-centered therapist that encourages clients to find the strength within by going on a journey of self discovery.
Welcome — this is a space where you can be honest, seen, and understood. I’m Shakea “Kea” Roper, LCSW, and I bring 15 years of clinical and life experience to our therapeutic partnership. If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or burdened by cycles that just won’t shift — I see you.
I specialize in helping people manage anxiety, depression, racing or intrusive thoughts, life transitions, and relational struggle. My style is active, grounded, and rooted in both compassion and challenge. Many clients say: “Kea listens like no one else — and she’s not afraid to stretch me when I need it.”
I integrate evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Strengths-Based, Brief Therapy) along with more specialized models:
Making Sense of Your Worth (MSoYW): an 8-week group curriculum developed by HALO Project where we explore and heal the internal “lies” we believe about ourselves, rebuild toward positive self-worth and secure attachment.
Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT): a structured, cognitive-behavioral system where we work through step-by-step exercises to enhance reasoning, decision-making, and a healthier identity (beyond self-destructive or impulsive patterns).
I also actively engage in community work, and I’m currently pursuing my doctorate (which continues to deepen my perspective and rigor). Outside of sessions, you’ll often find me at board game night, crafting, or spending time with family.
It’s an honor to walk alongside you. Nelson Mandela said, “Everything seems impossible until it’s done.” Let’s work together toward the possible.
I’m currently accepting clients in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kansas, Utah, North Dakota, and Nevada.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Kansas and Missouri, with more than 30 years of experience providing therapy to adults with a wide range of mental health concerns. For over 15 years, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside people through some of the most challenging and meaningful moments of their lives. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri, my role is not to “fix” anyone — it’s to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with your inner strength, and create the changes that matter most to you. I believe that healing doesn’t always come from having the right answers — sometimes, it begins with the right questions, honest reflection, and the courage to show up just as you are.
I believe therapy should be a safe place where you can show up exactly as you are. I work with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about their next steps in life. Together, we will explore what has been weighing on you, identify your strengths, and create meaningful strategies for growth and healing. My goal is to help you feel more confident, empowered, and equipped to navigate life with greater clarity and peace.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping people navigate everyday life. My specialty is working with women and teen girls. I work with clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or impacted by difficult experiences, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported.

Above all, I value connection. Therapy with me is a partnership, and my goal is to walk alongside you as you work toward meaningful and lasting change.
You may be someone others rely on—at work, in your relationships, or within your family—but internally you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained. You might find yourself overthinking conversations, struggling to set boundaries, or feeling responsible for everyone else’s needs while your own take a back seat.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, or difficulty communicating their needs. I also have a strong interest in working with veterans and understand the unique stressors that can come with both military and post-service life.
I’m Ann Ross, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s most challenging emotional seasons. I bring a calm, grounded, and compassionate presence to therapy, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, understood, and supported from the very first session. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens when people are truly seen and heard, and when they are given the right tools to understand their inner world.
I help adults who are dealing with anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, stress, chronic worry, and difficult life transitions. My approach is both supportive and practical, blending evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and attachment-informed work with a personalized, person-centered style. I value collaboration, and I work closely with each client to identify their goals, uncover the patterns that may be holding them back, and build strategies that support lasting emotional resilience.
Clients often share that they appreciate my warm, steady presence and my ability to make therapy feel both comfortable and productive. I guide clients in understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and I help them develop healthier, more balanced ways of navigating daily stressors. Whether we are working through long-standing grief, processing trauma, or addressing anxiety that feels overwhelming, my focus is always on helping clients feel grounded and empowered.
I believe therapy is a place where people can reconnect with their strengths, gain clarity, and grow toward the version of themselves they want to become. If you’re looking for a therapist who will walk alongside you with empathy, insight, and practical tools, I would be honored to support you on your journey.
