New to Grow
I take a no-nonsense approach to human issues, using the best science available. I find that my patients tend to want real solutions, not gimmicks. I work with adults exclusively, focusing on recovery from all forms of trauma, with an emphasis on restoring neurological damage, reversing emotional dysregulation, improving damaged relational dynamics, and creating an authored life.
Your first session is a chance to get oriented. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you've already tried, and what you hope to change. You'll also get a clear sense of how the work would unfold, including what we'll focus on first and how we'll measure progress. By the end, you'll know whether this approach fits what you need.
I bring lived experience of trauma and a method built to address it. I'm a trauma survivor, and I know learned patterns can change. I don't waste words, I don't waste time, and I have no interest in wasting yours. If you really want to get better, I'm your man.
My ideal client is an adult carrying complex trauma who is ready to do the work of changing learned patterns rather than only managing symptoms. Such a client likely has a history of trauma that has shaped how they think and behave, and they're looking for a structured, hands-on method rather than open-ended talk. They're willing to embrace difficulty instead of avoiding it, and they want to build internal autonomy, not dependence on the therapist. Ideally, they are motivated to grow through their pain and are ready to take ownership of their recovery.
ACT helps you stop wrestling with anxiety, grief, and old memories and start living by what you value. You'll learn to hold difficult feelings without letting them run your decisions, then take real steps toward the life you want. Clients come in feeling stuck and leave with more freedom, flexibility, and direction. If you're ready to stop battling yourself and start moving forward, ACT is the right fit.
CBT gives you practical tools to notice the thinking patterns that fuel anxiety, low mood, and self-doubt, then test them against reality. You'll learn skills you can use long after sessions end: reframing unhelpful beliefs, changing the behaviors that keep you stuck, and building confidence one step at a time. Clients come in overwhelmed and leave with a clear, structured way to handle what comes next. If you're ready for change you can measure, CBT is the right fit for you.
Want your faith woven into your healing, not set aside at the door? Faith-based therapy honors your beliefs as a source of strength while you work through anxiety, grief, past wounds, or the struggles that have been weighing on you. Together we'll look at how your values and spiritual life can support the changes you're making, and you'll never be asked to leave your faith behind. Clients often describe finally feeling understood on both fronts, emotionally and spiritually.
Trauma has a way of shaping how you think, feel, and respond long after the danger has passed. Trauma-focused CBT is a structured, evidence-based approach designed to help you process what happened, challenge the beliefs it left behind, and reduce the fear and avoidance that keep you stuck. You'll move at a pace that fits you, with clear steps and skills you can use between sessions. Clients often find the work hard but steady, and they leave with a stronger sense of safety and control.
