About me

I am a clinician that brings heart, experience and a long history of helping others to the room. My style is more directive while meeting you where are at. I have over 35 years working in the Employee Assistance Profession primarily using short term solution focused approach. I am trained to look at the big picture and not only through one specific lens. This allows me to complete a more holistic assessment.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Typically after the first session, we have established some idea of an action plan and in most cases, completed the assessment. For the clients that needed a softer, slower approach especially if they are new to therapy, then we may take a couple of sessions to achieve this.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring years of experience, strong clinical skills, and lot’s of success stories. I am easy to talk to. Clients experience me as compassionate, engaging, with lot’s of knowledge. My style is directive but not over bearing. I bring 100% of myself and for those that are looking for change can typically achieve their desired goals. I believe all clients are capable of making positive changes and I’m not the clinician that thinks you have to relive or talk about all the hard experiences you had while growing up to achieve success. But I am also that clinician that can provide the safe and supportive place for that to happen if that’s what is needed.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Anyone that is looking to make changes, needs a sounding board, dealing with big issues, or feels completely at a loss. I have worked with so many different types of clients with different issues. I easily pivot, and adjust to meet them where they are. Some clients bring insight and self awareness while others need time, patience and guidance to help connect the dots. It’s about asking the right questions to get the information needed and then helping put the pieces together.
