Hi, I'm **Christian Jené Williams, LPC**, a licensed professional counselor dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion and authenticity. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, play therapy, and other trauma-informed interventions. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, behavioral challenges, or simply seeking personal growth, I'm here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your current concerns, review relevant background information, and talk about your goals for treatment. This is also your chance to ask questions and share what you're hoping to gain from therapy. Together, we'll create a plan that feels personalized to your needs. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how we can work together moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in meaningful change, so I prioritize building trust while meeting clients with empathy, authenticity, and respect. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to each individual's unique needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method. I integrate evidence-based practices with practical strategies that clients can apply in their everyday lives. Whether I'm working with a young child through play therapy, supporting an adolescent, or helping an adult navigate life's challenges, my goal is to empower clients with the insight, skills, and confidence to create lasting, meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are ready to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create positive change in their lives. My ideal clients may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, behavioral challenges, stress, or difficulties with emotional regulation. They don't need to have everything figured out—they simply need a willingness to show up, be open to the process, and work collaboratively toward their goals. Whether you're seeking support during a difficult season or looking to build healthier coping skills and greater self-awareness, I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering space where growth and healing can take place.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge beliefs that may be contributing to distress, and develop healthier, more balanced ways of thinking and responding to life's challenges. CBT is a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that provides practical tools clients can use both in and outside of therapy. I tailor CBT interventions to each client's unique needs, helping them build effective coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and create lasting, meaningful change.

Eclectic

I take an eclectic approach to therapy, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based treatment methods rather than relying on a single approach. Every client is unique, so I tailor each session to meet their individual needs, goals, strengths, and stage of life. Depending on what is most helpful, I may incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, play therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and other therapeutic approaches. This flexibility allows me to provide personalized care that supports meaningful growth, builds on each client's strengths, and helps them develop practical skills for lasting change.
