Hi there, my name is Darrius.
Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Are you feeling overwhelmed or just plain stuck in life?
I help people restructure their damaged relationships. Relationships are more than romantic interactions between two people. Relationships as I define it can be with anyone or anything that you exchange energy with. The biggest relationship that we struggle to understand and grow with is the person staring at us in the mirror each morning.
No matter what relationship your struggling with ( work, home, family, yourself.) I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!

Hi!
I am Alyson Davis, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a millennial and military brat that grew up in Northern Virginia. Currently, I reside in Maryland and have licenses in both Maryland and Virginia. I am taking clients in both states via telehealth. For undergrad, I attended the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE!) and for my graduate education and clinical training I practiced at Valdosta State University.
The therapeutic modality I use the most often is Narrative Therapy. Using Narrative Therapy, I help clients change the problem stories in their heads to preferred stories to improve their behaviors, relationships, and life outlook. With this practice, I enjoy using journal prompts, metaphors, and media. I am not a trained Christian therapist, but I do identify as a Christian, and enjoy using all religion and spirituality in my practice, but it is not required. I am LGBTQ-IA+ affirming and believe in honoring and creating space for all identities in session.
A personal joy of mine is working with Black clients who are first-timers in therapy to work on destigmatizing mental health and healing the impacts of white supremacy. More specifically, I prioritize supporting Black clients who grew up in predominantly White spaces who did not feel "Black enough."
My favorite problem to work with is when someone says "I'm stuck," to help a client not only get moving but move in a healthy direction.
In my personal life, I am married, am a mother to a sickle cell warrior son, have a wonderful bonus-daughter and playful Aussiedoodle. That being said, I have an appreciation for working with blended families and exploring dating post-divorce. For self-care I enjoy writing fiction, listening to 90's and 2000s R&B, and watching romcoms. Looking forward to helping your healing journey.
Welcome! My therapeutic expertise extends across various cultural contexts, having practiced in Puerto Rico and Massachusetts, and currently holding active licenses in Maryland and Virginia.
I've been working in mental health for over two decades, and I bring that depth of experience to every session. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Maryland, Tennessee, and Arkansas, I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and the unique challenges that come with parenting and military service. My work at the Memphis VA Hospital's emergency department has deepened my understanding of trauma and crisis, and I'm committed to bringing that same compassionate, grounded approach to my private practice. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and trauma-informed techniques to meet you where you are. Whether you're a young adult finding your way, navigating life's complexities as an adult, or an elder seeking support, I'm here to help. I offer telehealth sessions and am currently accepting new clients. Let's work together toward meaningful change.
Hello, my name is Monique Allen. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, in multiple states. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Health from Alvernia University in 2007. I then received my Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Alvernia University in 2013. I became a National Certified Counselor in 2016.
I am direct and solution focused. I work collaboratively with my clients to address their needs. My goal is to help clients discover their true potential and authenticity, by providing a supportive, nonjudgmental, empowering space that displays my passion for my profession as well as help clients to believe in themselves and reach their goals.
First of all, I love what I do and to witness the positive changes clients make in their lives as a result of choosing therapy to help them accomplish what they want. Often the goal is to achieve symptom relief so as to not be overwhelmed by anxiety, mood disorders or be better able to manage the challenges of ADHD. Sometimes there is not a specific outcome identified but a need for ongoing support for dealing with life transitions or difficult people. Sometimes clients use therapy as a confidential sounding board where they can talk to an objective outsider about situations and sort out their perspective. I offer various ways to see and respond to situations that might otherwise not be considered. Your opinion as a client is the most important one and I will also honestly provide mine when asked for. I believe therapy can actually be something that you can look forward to and an opportunity to learn new skills to use long after you discontinue, and we can even have some fun and laughs along the journey.
Listening to others' stories and supporting them in finding positive paths through challenges has always felt like a natural calling. Even as a child, friends would often reach out, and my mom would joke, "Is the doctor in?" Later on, this passion led to volunteering with kids in creative programs and working in hospice care, where deeper connections were formed. These experiences led to a rewarding role at an outpatient community clinic, where people from all walks of life could share their unique journeys and struggles.
My work with clients have included helping those navigate stress, anxiety, mood disorders, and life transitions. The ideal clients are those who are open to exploring interventions and truly wish to understand themselves more deeply. Therapy is not about achieving perfection but rather finding new perspectives on who we are and how we engage with the world around us. Healing and personal growth rarely follow a straight path, and it's the patience and willingness to try that often make the difference in finding the right way forward.
Hello and Welcome! I am Tammy Jones, a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Maryland. I have been in the helping profession for many years and thoroughly enjoy working with and helping others. I aspire to ensure that clients feel safe in the therapeutic environment and that they are comfortable talking with me about their personal selves. I will meet the client where they are in their journey and strive towards providing them with the tools to navigate through their depression, anxiety, and grief and loss, so they may improve their individual functioning. Therapy can stimulate personal development in areas that you wish to grow. I am willing and ready to listen when you are ready to begin your journey.
I am often told that I am easy to open up to and talk to. My open-heart and open mind fosters relatability with clients of all ages. I provide empathetic and active listening to ensure my clients feel heard. My client's livelihood means a lot to me so I take their problems as serious as I take my own because of how much I care.
I thrive on assisting my clients with starving their fears and distractions and feed their focus and motivation to increase wellness and balance in their lives. I encourage you to experience my genuineness and authenticity, as I create a safe and warming space for you to process and work through your issues at your pace.
PLEASE NOTE: At this time, I’m available for appointments during daytime hours only. My afternoon slots are currently full and dedicated to working with children and adolescents. I truly appreciate your understanding and will do my best to find a time that works within my current availability.
Hello, my name is Brendette, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals on their path to healing and growth. My work is grounded in empathy, compassion, and inclusiveness, and I believe every person deserves to be seen, heard, and valued.
My approach is both goal-oriented and person-centered. I often work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, and I use evidence-based techniques to help them find healthier ways to cope and move forward. Together, we focus on building on your strengths while developing tools that will support long-term change.
I am a seasoned therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals dealing with addiction, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). My work focuses on helping clients develop practical coping strategies, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth.
In addition to clinical mental health support, I specialize in career development and helping individuals facing challenges related to re-entering the workforce. My background in Correctional and Mental Health Services has given me a broad and adaptable skill set to meet a variety of client needs. I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I provide ethical, results-driven care to people ready to move toward a brighter, more stable future.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I have dedicated my career to walking alongside individuals through their healing and growth journeys, beginning as a child and adolescent therapist before expanding my practice to work with adolescents and adults. My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma-Focused CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and my training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, always adapted to honor each client's unique story and strengths. I believe deeply in advocacy; both as something I practice on behalf of my clients and as a critical skill I help them develop for themselves, because sustainable wellness requires individuals to have the tools, voice, and confidence to advocate for their own needs. Beyond the therapy room, I extend this commitment to advocacy through my consulting work, partnering with organizations to build psychologically safe, inclusive, and equity-driven environments where all people can thrive.
I am a licensed psychotherapist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult mental health. With extensive training in therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), I help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
My work centers on building healthy, supportive relationships and helping clients strengthen emotional security, self-understanding, and resilience. I recognize the important role that connection and attachment can play in emotional and social development, and I bring that perspective into my sessions with individuals and families.
I also take a holistic approach to challenges related to school, work, and learning, offering support to both teens and adults as they manage academic stress, identity development, and everyday responsibilities. I provide practical tools and compassionate guidance to support both emotional and functional well-being.
For adults, I offer Motivational Therapy, using a personalized approach designed to strengthen intrinsic motivation and support positive behavioral change. My friendly and professional demeanor helps clients feel at ease as they work toward greater well-being.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), with many years of experiences, providing high-quality, personalized therapy for individuals seeking meaningful and lasting change. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, substance use, relationship challenges, and personal growth. My approach is collaborative, insight-driven, and results-oriented—designed for clients who are ready to better understand themselves, break unhelpful patterns, and build a more grounded, fulfilling life.
I am passionate with the desire to assist my clients in their journey of self discovery. I incorporate spirituality as a path to explore what makes their life meaningful. I respect the individuality of each person's qualities and personal choices. I am an active listener to what is said and use compassionate inquiry to what deeper meanings the client may desire to explore.

Before we start today, let me explain to you a little bit about who I am and what I do. I work for Grow Therapy providing therapy to clients who present with various issues. My job is to identify and target any problems you might be experiencing and work with you to create and implement a treatment plan to address these issues. Today I am going to spend about 45 minutes with you to get an understanding of your life. At the end of today's session, we will create a set of recommendations to start the helping process.
Welcome — I’m Glad You’re Here
For more than 13 years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals navigate some of life’s most difficult moments. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns and diagnoses. I have developed a particular passion for supporting young women, from adolescence through their 40s, as they navigate the emotional, relational, and life challenges that come with growing and finding themselves.
I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about what is wrong. It should help you understand yourself, your diagnosis, and how it impacts your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily functioning. My goal is to help you develop practical tools to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, while remaining individualized to your unique needs. I believe you are the expert on your life, and my role is to help you uncover your strengths, challenge patterns that no longer serve you and develop healthier ways of navigating life.
I bring authenticity, compassion and lived experience to my work. I understand that you can know what you should do and still struggle to do it. You can be accomplishing things, caring for everyone else, and quietly struggling inside. Therapy can be the space where you no longer have to carry everything alone.
My goal is not simply to help you feel better temporarily. I want to help you create lasting change. Together, we will work toward greater self-understanding, emotional well-being, confidence and resilience, so you can navigate life successfully and become the healthiest, most authentic version of yourself.
You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. You simply have to be willing to take the first step.

Hi, I’m Lyndsy, I go by Liz. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 3 years of experience in community mental health. I work with adults, teens, and families who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, and the general feeling of being overwhelmed or stuck.
Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve tried it before and it didn’t feel like a fit, I’m glad you’re here.
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and honest. I talk with you, not at you, and I won’t hide behind clinical jargon. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you make sense of what’s going on, notice patterns, and build tools that actually work for your real day-to-day life, not just in theory.
I see the whole person. Your culture, family, faith, identity, and life experiences all matter, and they’re welcome in our sessions. I also believe healing happens in connection: with yourself, with the people you love, with your community, and sometimes even with nature. Therapy doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical to be effective.
I balance flexibility with structure. We’ll set goals together, and I use simple check-ins to track how you’re doing so we can see your progress and adjust when something isn’t working. Some sessions will be about working through something hard. Others may be about just being heard. Both are part of the process.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is genuine, culturally aware, and committed to helping you feel better, not just talk in circles, I’d love to connect with you.

Are you feeling depressed and anxious? Are you finding your life is in turmoil because you have to make a change? Maybe you are changing careers or jobs, you’re recently divorced, your home is now an empty nest, or you are retiring. These are only a few of life’s transitions that can bring on depression and anxiety. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the therapy I use most often, states that A (Antecedent action or event) + B (our belief about that antecedent action or event) = Consequences, (depression or happiness). If you think of a transition or event (A) as a negative experience (B), you will experience the consequences of your belief, as depression and anxiety (C-negative) or as happiness and excitement (C-positive).
Unfortunately, many of us view a transition or change as a bad thing, a time when we are facing the unknown without a map. I would like to help you see change as an opportunity, a time for growth and exploration. Come with me. Together we can make change a positive force for a bright future.
please schedule appoints only on the hour.😀
