Hi, I am a licensed therapist in the state of Maryland. I obtained my Graduate Degree in May of 2015 from Mercer University in Atlanta GA. I became licensed in Maryland in 2016. I spent three additional years gaining experience in several mental health agencies and substance abuse clinics before starting my own practice in 2019. This profession is rewarding because of the possibilities.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After the intake session, which is to gather information from the client about why they feel the need to be in therapy. The first session is going to be about the pathway to goals that will aid in getting in touch with their inner strength to begin the process of connecting with the better version of themselves.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having experienced the exposure to different challenges from a wide range of people having success connecting to their inner strength. I have found that being empathetic, a good listener, and being patient goes far in gaining trust in the situation so the client can become comfortable to do the needed work.
