I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for ten years now. You will always know yourself better than I can or will.
From a philosophical and theoretical standpoint. I am overwhelming more of an attachment theorist, and have been known to use existentialism from time to time to help make sense of something. I guess the question that remains though is; can a butterfly flap it's wings in Brazil and cause a tornado in Kentucky, or are we all simply just products of our childhood and mirrors of our parents traumas?
The duality of life.
Attachment Theory vs. Chaos Theory. Both have value. I digress.
My goal is to provide a petridish in which you can explore your self. Safe. Contained. Yet completely in your control. The paradox being, you likely already have what you need. I'll sit with you while you find it. I can give you my clinical opinion, or diagnosis, and recommendations along the way as well if you'd like that. I can just sit and listen. I can play devils advocate. My job is to listen, empower, observe, and provide feedback when requested.

Hi, I'm Rachael! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in private practice for five years, but have been working in therapeutic settings as a social worker for 15 years. I work with a variety of individuals and have an extensive background working in the field of addiction and recovery; and currently work with individuals navigating the stressors of everyday life, anxiety, relationship challenges, and the many constant demands of today's world that I believe affect all of us on multiple levels. I believe in being a comrade of my clients in their journey of healing and finding a balance in their life. That can mean talking through things, building practical coping skills, or exploring how your mind and body are connected.
I’m supportive, but also honest and direct when it matters. Therapy with me is a collaborative process—we figure things out together. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’ve been through, feel more grounded, and start moving forward in a way that actually feels meaningful to you.
Starting therapy can be daunting, but I’m honored you’re considering me. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel comfortable being yourself.
