Hello, I’m Suzette, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, life changes, and women’s issues. Many of my clients are feeling overwhelmed, dealing with pressure, trying to manage relationships, or simply trying to figure things out while handling everyday responsibilities. I also enjoy working with athletes and understand that the challenges they face go beyond the game. With specialized training in Sport Social Work, I help athletes work through confidence issues, performance pressure, negative self-talk, and the challenges that come with balancing sports and everyday life. My style is direct, supportive, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be yourself, have honest conversations, and feel comfortable talking about what's going on in your life. We'll work together to figure out what's getting in the way and what you can do to move forward.

I am a social worker with 25 years of experience supporting clients across the lifespan — from infants and their caregivers to older adults navigating later‑life challenges. My work is grounded in the belief that our thoughts are powerful drivers of our emotions and behaviors. When we learn to understand and reshape those thoughts, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible. Using Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), I help clients harness the power of their thinking to influence how they feel and act in everyday situations. Many people have been taught to “just change their behavior,” and when that doesn’t work, they blame themselves. I guide clients toward a different approach — one that starts with the mind, not with willpower. In our sessions, I use analogies, real‑life examples, and practical tools that clients can immediately apply. My goal is for every session to end with one new tool for their toolbox, something concrete they can practice between sessions. And while the work is meaningful, I believe it can also be engaging — even fun — as clients begin to see themselves and the world through a new, more empowering lens.

I am a compassionate, thoughtful, and grounded provider who values creating a safe, supportive space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered. My approach is rooted in meeting people where they are while helping them move toward meaningful growth and healing at a pace that feels right for them. I believe every person has a unique path, and my role is to help illuminate possibilities, build on strengths, and support lasting change. In addition to my work as a therapist, I also bring experience as a veterinary social worker, which has deepened my understanding of the emotional challenges that can come with caregiving, grief, loss, and life transitions. This background allows me to offer added compassion and support, especially for clients navigating the unique bond between humans and animals or the stress that can come with caring for a beloved pet. With a warm and collaborative style, I strive to make therapy feel approachable, respectful, and genuinely connected to each client’s needs. I bring curiosity, care, and intention to my work, and I value helping clients navigate challenges while also reconnecting with their sense of self, purpose, and direction. My practice, Infinite Pathways, reflects my belief that there is more than one way forward, and that healing often begins when people feel supported in discovering what works best for them.

I hold a Clinical Psychologist license to practice in Illinois. I completed my doctorate studies at Adler University. My professional experience in treatment spans over 25 years. I believe a person holds the ability to transform their life for the better. I find satisfaction in helping them advance on their path. The following examples show my methods for treating anxiety and depression. The evidence-based treatment method I use for anxiety focuses on individualized symptom-specific approaches that match the client’s needs and personal preferences. The combination of repetitive and irrational thoughts about perceived danger, uncertainty or failure creates distressing mental states which may manifest as negative thought, such as: "I am not good enough" or "something bad will happen" or "I will be fired if I make a mistake." I assist my clients to detect and fight their negative beliefs and thoughts. I guide clients to manage their anxiety symptoms with mindfulness breathing techniques and progressive muscle relaxation methods. With assigned homework including mindfulness exercises, I guide the client to maintain their progress and self-regulation between sessions. My depression treatment approach matches each client's symptoms, their life history, and their social environment. Depression exists on a spectrum from temporary sadness to persistent and severe Major Depressive Disorder. The maintenance of depression relies on negative thoughts such as “I am worthless” or “Nothing will ever get better.” Our focus will be to identify and modify. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients view their depressive thoughts in a non-judgmental manner to reduce their rumination and emotional distress. By teaching problem solving skills and the practice of mindfulness helps the individual become more aware of their physical tension. Assigning homework guides the individual to improve sleep hygiene, self-care, and build effective coping strategies.

Therapy can be a space to finally put some of that weight down. I work with women and mothers who are ready to step out of the cycle of overwhelm, perfectionism, and putting themselves last. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that are leaving you depleted and create space for greater balance, self-trust, and peace. You don’t have to become a different person or figure everything out on your own. You can learn to care for yourself without the guilt, set boundaries without apology, and reconnect with the woman beneath all the roles you carry. My goal is to help you feel grounded, capable, and more like yourself again. My therapeutic style is integrative, blending elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques. I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs, whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma or life transitions. We’ll work to better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a safe space. When we’re able to see things from a different perspective, it helps us find a better solution to the problem. I have found that many people enter therapy not because of a complex mental health issue but because of a general feeling of life not being what they would like it to be. I've been there. Many years ago I embarked on my own personal growth journey and I believe that has made me a more compassionate, empathic therapist. I am very active in the therapeutic process and give direct feedback and suggestions for implementing lifestyle changes. I have been a therapist for over 30 years, specializing primarily in depression/anxiety, relationship issues, and addiction/alcoholism. I believe that pain shared is pain lessened and that people can and do recover from issues that have been troubling them for years. I work with individuals and couples. I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach. Think you're ready to start making the changes that you've been thinking about for quite some time? Call me. Let's talk about it. I would best describe myself as someone who seeks to provide a compassionate and effective approach to people seeking change. It takes a lot to become a therapist. I often think of a therapist as a rock in a tumbler. We spend a lot of time smoothing out our own rough edges so that we can be helpful to others. Your life is your own. In today's world, mental health support is needed more than ever. Mental health IS health. It's time to end the stigma and realize it's okay to not be okay. Finding a therapist can be a daunting process but congratulations on taking the first step! As a therapist, I am to foster an environment that is warm, collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental. Born and raised in Massachusetts, I earned my Masters in Social Work from Boston College after receiving my Bachelors of Arts degree in history. I am licensed in all 6 New England states (RI was just added), in addition to Illinois. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege to work with a vast array of individuals from all walks of life including children and adolescents, adults, seniors, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. As a telehealth provider, I only treat adults over the age of 22.

Anxiety & Sleeplessness Fear, insomnia, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we work towards increasing sleep time, decreasing panic or anxiety attacks or symptoms, fully understanding where overwhelming emotions stem from, and how to move towards being your best self. Relationships Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both partners and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship. Trauma and Healing Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after post-traumatic events. We work together through these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Greetings, I'm Maritza Solis, a bilingual and bicultural clinical therapist who is passionate about holistic methods to heal people's mind, body, and spirit. Through my culture I learned about the power of community, spirituality, and natural remedies to promote well-being. My philosophy of therapy is based on the belief that everyone has the ability to heal themselves, and my role is to facilitate that process by providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. I draw from evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapy, as well as natural remedies, prayer, meditation, and yoga to create a truly holistic approach. Ultimately, my goal as a therapist is to empower individuals to live their best lives by helping them reconnect with their inner selves and tap into their own inherent healing abilities. I believe that true healing happens when we address the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. Open to working with children and adolescents ages 10 and older.

Welcome! I'm glad that you're here! You are taking an important and courageous first-step towards a better you. I am passionate about helping people navigate life’s ups and downs and discover meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy should be a collaborative and empowering process, where you feel supported, understood, and truly heard. My approach is client-centered and rooted in empathy, which means I meet you where you are and tailor our work to fit your unique needs and goals. Because no two people are the same, I use an eclectic blend of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize and reshape unhelpful thought patterns, Client-Centered Therapy to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for growth, and Brief Solution-Focused Counseling to help you identify strengths and take practical steps forward. This flexibility allows me to adapt our sessions to what works best for you, whether you’re seeking tools to manage stress, improve relationships, or create positive changes in your daily life. Above all, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself and confident that you don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone.

Even strong, successful couples can struggle behind closed doors. Stress, busy schedules, communication breakdowns, unresolved hurt, intimacy challenges, parenting demands, and career pressures can slowly create distance in a relationship that once felt effortless. I work with couples who want more than just fewer arguments — they want to feel connected, understood, desired, and supported again. Together, we work to improve communication, rebuild trust, deepen emotional and physical intimacy, and create healthier ways of navigating conflict and partnership. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Certified Sex Therapist with 17 years of experience, I help couples strengthen both their relationship and their connection so they can build a marriage that feels secure, passionate, and sustainable long-term.

Congratulations! You have taken the first steps in the journey to your goal(s). I am extremely grateful you are considering me to partner up with. I consider my relationships as instrumental in learning who I am. The relationships that most speak to who I am include being a spouse, father, brother, son, colleague, and friend. My grandparents are deceased. Through these relationships I have learned a great deal.

For the past 20 years, I have worked with families, couples, adults, and adolescents. Using cognitive-behavioral theory with narrative techniques, I help empower clients to explore areas within their lives that present challenges and inhibit change, and assist them with finding solutions that will work for them. However, I also believe that the therapeutic relationship is a vital component within any program, which means that I believe that any work needs to be collaborative between myself and my clients. I am certified to deliver trauma-focused treatments as well as providing services to help manage stress and anxiety.
