(she/her)
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has been in practice for seven years. I support clients dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, school and work burnout and caregiver stress and burnout. I believe each person’s mental health journey is unique, and effective treatment should align with their specific goals.
During our first session, we will get to know each other, we will explore what brought you to begin or continue your mental health journey, discuss your expectations of therapy. If we find that we are a good fit, will begin setting goals that are important to in your treatment process.
As a provider, I will help you focus on a present problem and help guide you to finding a solution what works best for you and that problem.
Clients that I work with can vary from young adults beginning to find their way int the world but need that guidance and motivation to figure out their next steps in starting their lives as young adults. I also love working with middle aged adults who might need to find a balance between life at home, work, health and continuing to plan for a future.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
The core of CBT is to understand one's thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Outside of therapy we often do not challenge our thoughts, when we start challenging them, we can begin to see a change in our emotions and behaviors.
Grief Therapy
One of the biggest misconceptions about grief is that there is a "right" way to grief. Grief therapy recognizes that grief is unique to each individual and so is healing from grief.
Strength-Based
Each one of us possesses internal strengths. By focusing on these strengths, we can learn how to set goals, think positively and improve our mindset.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
As a therapist I will ensure a judgement free environment for you. With the use of person-centered therapy, you lead the session and focus on the topics most important to you. I will serve as a guide and resource for you to process these topics throughout the sessions.
