New to Grow
My name is Miranda and I work with adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions. I use a strengths-based, person-centered approach to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. Together, we build on strengths, develop coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change that aligns with each client’s goals, values, and well-being.
In your first session, we’ll get to know each other, discuss your goals and challenges, and explore your strengths. You’ll have a safe space to share openly, ask questions, and begin building a plan tailored to your needs. This session is the first step toward meaningful, lasting change.
What stands out about my approach is that it’s solution-focused, strengths-based, and down-to-earth. I create lighthearted, supportive sessions where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges. By combining mindfulness and practical coping strategies, clients increase self-awareness, build resilience, and make meaningful, lasting progress toward their goals.
I work with adolescents, adults, and families navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional concerns such as anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. I’m best positioned to support clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or are seeking personal growth. I help clients build effective coping skills, improve communication, and strengthen relationships, while empowering them to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
Strength-Based
I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and build on their existing skills, resilience, and life experiences. In session, I focus on what’s working, highlight progress, and support clients in using their strengths to navigate challenges and reach their goals. This approach promotes confidence, empowerment, and meaningful, lasting change.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients notice their thoughts and feelings without judgment, clarify what matters most, and take meaningful action toward their values—building resilience, flexibility, and lasting change.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness to help clients stay present, observe thoughts and emotions without judgment, and cultivate calm and awareness. In sessions, we practice techniques that support clarity, resilience, and intentional, value-driven action.
