I am certified and provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy in Colorado. My emphasis includes working with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as the LGBTQIA2S+ population. Within the mental health field, I have worked with severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents in residential treatment, group therapy practices, and presently I own and operate my current private practice. I practice traditional approaches as well as integrative, naturalistic, mindfulness and meditation, and holistic care. I am trained, certified, and passionate providing Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy for clients struggling with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I’ve long been curious about the human experience—how people adapt, cope, and grow through life’s challenges. This curiosity, along with a deep respect for human resilience, led me to the field of mental health and continues to shape how I approach my work today. In therapy, I aim to create a thoughtful, collaborative space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, past trauma, parenting stress, or life transitions. They may appear steady on the outside while carrying a great deal internally. Together, we work toward deeper self-understanding, practical coping strategies, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. I strive to provide affirming, non-judgmental care where all identities and lived experiences are respected. Whether someone is seeking healing from past experiences, support through a life transition, or simply a steadier way of navigating daily stress, therapy can be a collaborative process that helps people feel more grounded, supported, and connected to themselves.

I am a queer, trans, and polyamorous therapist with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. My journey began in 1992, and since then, I have worked across the clinical spectrum—from high-acuity crisis assessment in emergency departments to specialized non-profits serving the LGBTQIA+ and HIV communities. My practice is rooted in Feminist Psychotherapy, which means I view mental health through the lens of power distribution and systemic impact. I blend this with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients move toward a value-driven life. I provide a space where you don't have to "translate" your life or identity. As a member of the queer, trans, and poly communities, I offer the ease of lived experience. For my neuro-divergent clients, I offer 30+ years of dedicated, affirming clinical specialization. My goal is to let you stop being "the teacher" so you can finally just be the client.

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by state rather than a city?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across the entire state. If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near your address.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What happens during the first therapy session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
