Hi, I'm Jaci, and I am passionate about helping individuals overcome the challenges they face in relationships, personal fulfillment, and self-expression. I specialize in two main areas: working with adolescents who are struggling with ADHD, anxiety, and relationship challenges, and empowering strong, independent women who feel disconnected from their true selves. For adolescents, I understand how difficult it can be to manage ADHD and anxiety, especially when these struggles impact friendships, family dynamics, and daily life. I work with my clients to develop practical coping strategies, improve their self-esteem, and strengthen their relationships with those around them. Together, we explore the challenges they face and create individualized solutions that help them feel understood and capable. I also work with women who feel as though they are wearing a mask—either in their relationships or careers. These women often find themselves caught in patterns that don't align with who they truly are, feeling unfulfilled and stuck. I help these women navigate life transitions, identify their authentic selves, and build deeper, more meaningful relationships—starting with the one they have with themselves. My approach is grounded in building strong, trusting relationships. With years of experience working with adolescents in the criminal justice system, I've developed a deep understanding of how to build rapport and help people feel seen and heard. I believe in a strengths-based approach that empowers my clients to tap into their inherent resilience and potential. Reaching out for therapy can be intimidating, and I want to make this process as easy and comfortable as possible for you. If you're ready to explore your challenges and work toward a more fulfilling life, I’d love to connect with you.

Welcome! There is no beauty in "settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living." It is time to be courageous and see what might be causing you to settle. In the midst, I will use cognitive behavioral because I know it therapy works in actual clinical practice. While it may require hope, perseverance, and patience, you'll be glad you did! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Illinois, Colorado, and Florida. I received a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University (NU). I am trained with a systemic view of change, using empirically-based information that the profession and I know works. Additionally, I have a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling, focusing on Marriage and Family from Liberty University, obtaining clinical training in faith-based solutions. The convergence of ideologies from these two schools helps my aspirational core values of acceptance, appreciation, diversity and inclusion.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and reside in Texas, I am also licensed in Colorado, Florida, Utah, South Carolina, and Vermont. I specialize in helping you identify and overcome issues that hinder your day-to-day enjoyment of life and/or interfere with progress towards goals you have set. In over thirty years of private practice counseling I have learned to meet clients’ needs not only with continued education and research but also through a multitude of life experiences. I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients and have found that humor when utilized in an appropriate way and time can be very beneficial. I believe trust is a fundamental element in any relationship. This trust has to be developed and nurtured to remain genuine. Through trust other aspects important to the relationship can prosper such as comfort in being open, sincerity, and a willingness to change. I find that humor when utilized in an appropriate way and time can be very beneficial. I am a life-long Texan, however, I have traveled extensively and embraced many different cultures and location specific issues. Through all of life’s changes I have learned that, even with the best of plans, things still do not always work out the way we would like. I have experienced many of the same issues as my clients so can relate to them on a personal basis. This has also allowed me to acquire an understanding of what clients may be going through even if I have not experienced the exact situation. Through any adversity there is no reason to feel alone.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Colorado. I received my Masters in 2008 and have been practicing since. I am honored and enjoy helping adults in individual counseling to navigate various life experiences, stressors and challenges to become a more productive, healthy version of themselves. If we draw a circle around ourselves and then begin working on the person in the middle of that circle, we recognize that is the only person we have control over to make changes, then we begin to grow.

I’m a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor with a doctorate in psychology and over 20 years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I believe therapy should be a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal and thrive. I use evidence-based treatment methods tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, solution-focused techniques, and person-centered therapy. When requested, I integrate Christian faith into therapy to support healing, provide spiritual perspective, and align emotional work with personal values. I work well with clients who are ready to explore emotional patterns, past experiences, or stressors that may be keeping them stuck. Whether you’re overwhelmed by anxiety, processing trauma, grieving a loss, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I aim to meet you where you are and walk with you at a pace that feels right. My clinical work is informed by ongoing professional development, national conference training, and active membership in the American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, and The National Society of Leadership and Success. I strive to offer a thoughtful, affirming space where you can build insight, resilience, and a grounded sense of self. Therapy with me is a partnership — one that honors your voice, your goals, and your capacity for meaningful change.

You’re the one everyone counts on—the strong one, the dependable one. But lately, holding it all together feels heavier than ever. Maybe you’re stuck in old patterns, questioning your worth, or silently battling people-pleasing, perfectionism, or the weight of unhealed trauma. On the outside, you might look like you're doing fine, but inside, you're just trying to keep from falling apart. Hi, I’m Marisa—a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting women who appear to have it all together but are quietly carrying the emotional weight of anxiety, overwhelm, and unresolved pain. One thing I’ve noticed again and again in my work is that years of internalizing and compartmentalizing emotional pain often begin to surface—not just mentally, but physically and relationally. What’s carried silently inside eventually starts to disrupt life on the outside. This realization deepened my passion for supporting women in their holistic wellness—because true healing includes mind, body, and soul. In our work together, you’ll have a space to just be—a space where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out. I use a holistic, trauma-informed approach that weaves together evidence-based practices like CBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help you reconnect with yourself, feel grounded again, and move forward with confidence and clarity.

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by state rather than a city?

Why filter by state rather than a city? When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across the entire state. If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near your address.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

What are the "Clients say I'm" badges?

Grow Therapy asks patients about their experience with therapists after they have had a certain number of sessions. After enough responses, we add those characteristics to their profiles to help you find the best online therapists for you. We're still working on collecting this information from all our therapists.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What to expect during your first session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs.

Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
