Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or emotionally exhausted from constantly caring for others while neglecting their own needs. If you’re caring for an aging parent, spouse, or another loved one over the age of 18, you don’t have to carry that stress alone. My name is Clint, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Florida and Alabama. I specialize in supporting caregivers of older adults and individuals with disabilities over the age of 18 who may be struggling with burnout, anxiety, guilt, stress, or feeling emotionally drained. As a former primary caregiver for my father, I understand firsthand the emotional and practical challenges caregiving can bring. Balancing medical appointments, family responsibilities, work demands, and the emotional weight of supporting a loved one can leave little time to care for yourself. Since 2011, I’ve worked alongside caregivers and families to help reduce burnout, build healthier boundaries, improve coping skills, and create more balance in daily life. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on practical tools you can use outside of sessions. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, strength's based and supportive therapy to help clients manage stress, navigate difficult emotions, and reconnect with their own well-being. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. The first session is simply an opportunity for us to talk about what’s been weighing on you and explore whether working together feels like a good fit — with no pressure or expectations. If you’re ready for support, I’d be honored to work alongside you.

I am a clinical social worker with a decade of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults through life's most pressing challenges. Before transitioning into clinical practice, I worked within organizations helping employees navigate workplace stress and the broader life issues that often accompany it. My own life transition during that time deepened my appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support, and I now draw on those transferable skills alongside my academic and work experiences as a master's in social work and doctorate in organizational behavior professional. You appear calm and put together on the outside, internally you feel overwhelmed and exhausted. You've been doing everything you can to keep things together so no one notices how much you're struggling, but lately it feels harder to manage. You're doing your best to hold on, yet you worry that one more stressful situation could push you past your limit. You continue to smile, show up, and tell yourself you're okay, even when deep down you know you're not. Because you look “fine” to others, people may not realize how heavy things have become for you. You often minimize your own pain by comparing yourself to others, convincing yourself that you should just be grateful because “others have it worse.” As a result, prioritizing your emotional well-being can feel selfish or undeserved. If this describes you, and you are ready to stop overthinking, you are no longer willing to put your own needs on the backburner, you are ready to silence the inner critic, work on your personal and/or professional relationships, and you want to stop just going through the motions, we should talk. I have the credentials that every other therapist has earned, representing the commitment of a competent practitioner. However, its important to note that my caring coupled with my competence makes me who I am. I am a person of faith, wife (retired military veteran) mother, grandmother, and dog mom. I've navigated many seasons of life overcoming grief and loss, divorce, careers, the sandwich generation (caring for aging parents and small children), financial challenges, and blending a family. All the makings for stress, anxiety, and depression. During these and other dark seasons, it was the professional help holding my hand through the darkness until I could see the light again. Let's walk together to the light.

I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist who is dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practices that empower clients to better understand their experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. I integrate several therapeutic modalities in my work, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based approaches. Through these methods, I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful or “stuck” beliefs related to past experiences, strengthen personal motivation for growth, and develop greater awareness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in the present moment. My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported as they explore difficult emotions and experiences. Together, we work to develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and cultivate healthier perspectives that support long-term well-being. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who are navigating trauma, stress, life transitions, and mood or anxiety-related concerns. Whether you are seeking to process past experiences, manage overwhelming emotions, or build new coping strategies, therapy can be a powerful step toward healing and personal growth.

I am a licensed counselor, certified health and wellness coach, and Mental Health First Aid instructor. I primarily work with adolescents and adults who are navigating life changes, emotional stress, and questions about identity or purpose. My approach is simple: I meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you move toward your goals. I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and empowering. I use talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to help you better understand your thoughts, manage strong emotions, and build healthier patterns. With younger clients, I also incorporate play therapy techniques and work closely with families when helpful. My goal is to help you feel more confident in your abilities and more proactive in facing life’s challenges.

Greetings, I am Dr. Mekeya. My background is as a licensed social worker. I became a mental health professional because I understand the importance of having support through tough times and a partner to cheer with you in times of victory. I have the pleasure of helping others recognize their strengths and abilities that can be used to overcome challenges and promote growth. Being a mental health professional allows me to positively touch someone’s life daily and be an ear for someone that just needs to vent.

My name is Bill Massey and I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in west central Georgia and east central Alabama. I graduated from the University of Georgia's MSW program in 1993 and became an LCSW in 1996. I have worked in home health and hospice for most of my career with a strong emphasis on geriatrics and dementia care. I have experience in inpatient psychiatric settings and residential services as well. I am looking to fill a niche that I have seen wanting attention for some time. For many years I have seen elders and their families in their homes but had to refer out any counseling other than crisis intervention to outpatient therapists. The problem is that I have been referring homebound people for outpatient therapy. This is not effective for many reasons. With the help of Grow Therapy, I intend to offer my services of counseling and case management to people in the comfort of their own homes. I will become a mobile mental health provider to serve a population that has gone largely underserved for all too long. My coverage area for in-home therapy will be Lee, Russell, and Chambers counties in Alabama as well as Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Harris Counties in Georgia. I am opening up limited appointment times for virtual counseling as of mid May 2024.

Hola! I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than a decade of experience in mental health, behavioral health, and non-profit work. I grew up in Los Angeles, completed my Master of Social Work at Fordham University in the Bronx, and now call Ocala, Florida home. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families across the lifespan, each with their own unique stories and needs. My work is guided by an integrative approach, meaning I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods to find what fits best for you. I’ve worked extensively with family systems, intergenerational trauma, parents and children facing behavioral challenges, neurodivergent individuals, women navigating life transitions, and people seeking to better understand themselves and the patterns that may be causing distress, mood difficulties, anxiety, or OCD. Some of my specialties include helping young adults transition into life after high school, supporting parents and partners as they navigate family life, and walking alongside Latina women who are balancing relationships, cultural expectations, independence, and self-care. I believe deeply that every person’s journey is unique. That’s why I focus on meeting you exactly where you are, empowering you to uncover strengths, solutions, and coping strategies that work for your life. While I am trained in CBT and DBT, I see these as tools within a broader, collaborative process. At the heart of my practice is client-centered care — because there is no single path to healing that fits everyone. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that honors your voice, builds on your resilience, and empowers you to move toward the life you want to live.
