Creating a space where thoughts and feelings can be shared freely—without fear of judgment—is central to my approach. I believe in fostering a warm, open environment that encourages personal growth, emotional insight, and healing. It takes genuine courage to seek a happier, more fulfilling life and to take those first steps toward change. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or continuing to build on past progress, I’m here to support and empower you every step of the way. I’m a licensed clinical social worker in Alabama with 15 years of experience. I help clients manage stress, anxiety, and depression, build confidence and motivation, and navigate parenting challenges. I also support teens and young adults through life transitions, identity exploration, and the pressures of growing up. Reaching out for support is a courageous step, and you deserve a space where your experiences are understood and respected. If you’re looking for guidance, clarity, or a fresh start, I’m here to help you move forward. I welcome you to reach out whenever you feel ready.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, you can expect a relaxed, welcoming conversation focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what has been going on in your life, the concerns or challenges you want support with, and any goals you may have for therapy. I may ask about your current stressors, mood, relationships, family background, and any previous counseling experiences so I can better understand the bigger picture of what you’re carrying. There is no pressure to share everything at once. The first session is also a chance for you to ask questions, get a feel for my approach, and decide whether the space feels comfortable for you. Together, we’ll begin identifying what support might be most helpful and discuss possible next steps moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves, building strong therapeutic relationships grounded in trust and respect, and helping clients turn insight into meaningful change. With 15 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, I support clients with empathy, clarity, and practical tools as they navigate stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting challenges, and personal growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

A motto I live by is, "A change in behavior requires a change in behavior." I use this approach when helping clients who are struggling to adjust to change—whether it's planned or unexpected. I work with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or difficulty coping with new circumstances, helping them build skills to navigate change and move.
