LMFT, 1 years of experience
Hi, I’m a licensed therapist with over five years of experience helping individuals with healing and growth. I focus on trauma-informed care, working with youth and adults who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation, are involved in the sex trade, or are dealing with complex trauma, anxiety, and life changes. I also address anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and personal growth using evidence-based practices like CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. I am dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing and self-discovery. My approach is rooted in compassion, cultural humility, and collaboration—I believe in meeting you where you are and walking alongside you at your own pace.
In our first session, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard. We’ll spend time getting to know each other—I'll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, and any goals or hopes you have for our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything right away; we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. Most importantly, this session is about building trust and making sure you feel comfortable moving forward.
What sets my approach apart is a deep commitment to trauma-informed, client-led care rooted in harm reduction and cultural humility. I integrate evidence-based methods like CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness with a relational, strengths-based lens—honoring each client’s lived experience, identity, and resilience. I focus not just on symptom relief but on helping clients reclaim power, rebuild trust in themselves, and move toward long-term healing. Clients often share that they feel genuinely seen, respected, and empowered in our work together.
I’m best positioned to support individuals who are navigating trauma, complex life transitions, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I work well with clients who may have experienced exploitation, marginalization, or systemic harm, including commercially sexually exploited youth and those with experience in the sex trade. Whether you're processing trauma, seeking to build healthier relationships, or working toward greater self-understanding and resilience, I offer a space that is affirming, nonjudgmental, and deeply collaborative.
