Hi there! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT) based in a California. I received my Masters from Chapman University in CA and have been provided individual, group, and family counseling for 10+ years. I help clients of all ages find “hope” again and remind them of the skills needed to help live as the best version of themselves.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then explore the specific challenges you're facing and treatment goals you’re hoping to obtain. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked in this field for over 10 years both as a clinician myself and supervisor of other clinicians, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
Anyone actively seeking to better themselves, feel like “themselves” again, or a better version of themselves. Teens, adults, older adults all experience anxiety, depression and/or need guidance in processing through traumatic experiences, let me help you through the process.
Creating a safe environment, I explore all dynamics of a clients life and how it may factor in to the presenting issue. As we collaborate on treatment goals, we were to empower the client and process through struggles preventing client from living their best version of self. With 5+ years of trauma informed training, I can provide efficient care.
Using this treatment we are goal and problem solution focused. We can collaborate to get the client closer to living the best version of self by setting goals and working collaboratively to accomplish them. With 10+ years of experience in CBT, you will find it is the most fluid type of therapy and used very frequently.
With 4+ years of experience providing EMDR I have witnessed its ongoing growth and success. Processing through trauma can be re open old wounds at times, EMDR provides the skills to be able to process and officially close those wounds. Willingness and participation are key components to the success of this therapy.
The way we face our day to days lives often has to do with our personal relationships, in Interpersonal Therapy I work with the client to evaluate those close relationships and the impact they have, then we fine tune those interactions to help the client be the best version of themselves.
With 10+ years of experience utilizing motivational interview, I find most people have all that they need to make them feel better within them. Through open ended questions and rephrasing we collaborate to find those skills and incorporate them in daily living.
