Hello! I go by Lety. I'm a Bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my Masters from the University of Southern California and have been practicing for 9 years, working primarily with youth and families, though within the last years working with all ages. I particularly enjoy creating a nonjudgmental space for clients to sort their thoughts, beliefs, and values, walking alongside them, and guiding them to reach their personal goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is an overview of treatment, exchange of information to become acquainted (primarily about you) and ending with collaboratively creating SMART goals to drive sessions. I specifically enjoy getting to know the smaller details such as hobbies, pets, idiosyncrasies, etc.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapist superpowers are being patient (playing the long-game in building trust, safety, trouble-shooting, etc). I pride myself on being a nonjudgmental container to help hold space for other's emotional burdens, yet also to acknowledge life's glimmers of joy.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with all ages and walks of life, particularly those that are highly expressive, reflective, and open to making small changes, and gain a different perspective....even if you aren't there yet but hope to be. Basically I enjoy working with anyone willing to be even a bit vulnerable, and have uncomfortable conversations.
