I am a dedicated mental health professional specializing in medication management for individuals with conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. By combining clinical expertise with motivational strategies, I empower clients to take control of their mental health and achieve lasting well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, clients can expect a comfortable, collaborative conversation focused on understanding their mental health history, current symptoms, and treatment goals. I will ask about past experiences with medications, any concerns or side effects they’ve encountered, and their preferences for treatment. This session is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions, express any hesitations, and discuss what they hope to achieve. Together, we will develop a personalized medication management plan that aligns with their needs and lifestyle. My goal is to ensure they feel heard, supported, and confident in the next steps of their care.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider include my expertise in medication management, my collaborative and patient-centered approach, and my ability to empower clients through education and support. I take the time to listen to clients’ concerns, explain treatment options in a clear and compassionate way, and help them make informed decisions about their care. I also excel at building trust and rapport, which encourages open communication and improves treatment adherence. By integrating motivational strategies, I help clients feel more in control of their mental health journey, leading to better outcomes and long-term well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals who require medication management as a key component of their mental health treatment, particularly those with conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. My approach is well-suited for clients who may feel ambivalent about medication adherence, need support in managing complex regimens, or prefer a collaborative and patient-centered approach to their care. I also have experience working with individuals who have co-occurring conditions, such as substance use disorders or chronic medical issues, that impact their psychiatric treatment. By integrating medication education, side effect management, and motivational strategies, I help clients achieve better treatment outcomes while respecting their autonomy in the decision-making process.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

In my practice, I integrate MI by employing open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations to explore patients’ personal values and goals. I guide conversations to elicit “change talk,” helping individuals recognize their own reasons for making positive behavioral changes. Rather than prescribing solutions, I empower patients to identify barriers and develop self-efficacy. For example, when working with patients struggling with medication adherence, I use MI to explore their concerns about side effects or misconceptions. Instead of directing them to take their medications, I ask about their experiences, validate their feelings, and collaboratively explore solutions that align with their personal goals. My approach ensures that patients feel heard and respected, which increases engagement and adherence to treatment plans. By utilizing MI, I have successfully helped individuals improve medication compliance, reduce substance use, and commit to healthier behaviors in a way that feels self-directed and sustainable.
