First of all I would like to say that I am very proud of you for taking your first steps towards healing. Seeking help isn't always easy and takes a lot of courage. Anxiety and Depression are no joke and can keep you from reaching your true potential. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist [LMFT] practicing in the Golden State of California. I would like to share with you my educational background. I have my Masters degree in Marriage Child and Family Therapy and my undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. I also studied at West Los Angeles College back in 2007 and received my Associates of Arts degree in Biology Health Sciences. As you can see, the healthcare field has always fascinated me. With that being said, my educational, professional and personal experiences led me towards my journey in becoming a therapist. I never in my life would have imagined having the gift of healing and I thank God for this gift. I enjoy helping individuals understand the impact of mental illness and the effects on the body and mind. I used Cognitive techniques to help individuals challenge self-defeating thoughts that create feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, and despair. I also use other theoretical approaches that are based on the mental health needs of my clients. I enjoy working with clients from all walks of life, primarily Latino and Filipino communities who have been deeply wounded from the past and need a safe place to heal. You are safe to share your story with me. I will help you create a new narrative.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I complete a screening/assessment to determine if we are a good fit. Please note that I am not an Emergency Response Therapist and will let you know if you need a referral for a higher level of care. Telehealth is not clinical appropriate for clients who need higher level of care. I would be more than happy to assist you with referrals. Once I determine that we are a good fit, I would like to establish the therapeutic alliance . I would like to know your goals, dreams and aspirations.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My mission and purpose is to instill hope, motivation, and inspire others to make positive changes.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with clients who are between the ages of 18-65. My vision is to provide mental health services to Latino and Filipino communities, however everyone is welcomed in my practice. I am here for you. In addition, I also offer Christian Counseling for clients who want to incorporate Christ in their sessions.
