I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist offering individual consultation and therapy in English and Farsi. My areas of expertise include trauma and complex trauma, narcissistic abuse, mood and anxiety disorders, codependency, and substance use. I am dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s unique needs, fostering a safe, supportive environment that empowers clients toward growth, healing, and lasting change.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, non-judgmental space where they can share what’s bringing them to therapy at their own pace. I’ll ask some initial questions to better understand their background, current concerns, and goals for therapy. Together, we will collaboratively explore what they hope to achieve and start identifying immediate areas of focus. Most importantly, the first session is about building rapport and ensuring they feel safe, heard, and supported.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe, compassionate, and culturally sensitive space where clients feel truly seen and understood. I bring a deep understanding of trauma, narcissistic abuse, and complex relational dynamics, and I approach each client with empathy, respect, and a non-judgmental attitude. My integrative approach—drawing from evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, ACT, and attachment-based therapies—allows me to tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique needs. Additionally, being multilingual and culturally attuned, I am able to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds in a meaningful way.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve adult clients who are navigating challenges related to trauma, complex trauma, narcissistic abuse, substance use, codependency, and mood or anxiety disorders. I work particularly well with individuals who are seeking a deeper understanding of their patterns and are motivated to make meaningful changes. Many of my clients are high-functioning but feel stuck in unhealthy relational dynamics, experience emotional dysregulation, or struggle with self-worth. I also specialize in working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, and I provide therapy in English and Farsi to ensure accessible, culturally sensitive care.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use CBT to help clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. By identifying these patterns, clients gain practical tools to challenge negative thinking and develop healthier coping strategies. I tailor CBT techniques to each individual’s needs, empowering them to make meaningful, lasting changes.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate DBT skills to support clients in managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and building distress tolerance. Through a balance of acceptance and change strategies, I guide clients in practicing mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to foster greater emotional stability and resilience.

Attachment-based

I use an attachment-based approach to explore early relational experiences and how they influence current patterns in relationships and self-perception. By fostering a secure, supportive therapeutic relationship, I help clients develop healthier attachment styles, improve self-worth, and build stronger connections with others.

Compassion Focused

In my practice, I incorporate compassion-focused techniques to help clients develop self-compassion and reduce self-criticism. This approach is especially helpful for individuals struggling with shame, trauma, or perfectionism, guiding them toward a more kind and balanced relationship with themselves.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I utilize ACT to help clients increase psychological flexibility, encouraging them to accept difficult emotions while committing to actions aligned with their personal values. This approach empowers clients to navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and authenticity.
