(she/her)
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders across all ages. I offer a blend of medication management and evidence-based therapies like CBT to support adults, teens, and children. My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive. With advanced training in psychiatry and years of nursing experience, I help clients heal from emotional overwhelm, substance use, and personality disorders in a warm, supportive environment.
In our first session, I’ll conduct a comprehensive mental health evaluation tailored to your unique concerns. Using evidence-based tools like the PHQ-9, GAD-7, and DSM-5 criteria, I assess symptoms of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and more. We’ll also review your medical, psychiatric, medication, and family history to create a clear picture of your needs. From there, we’ll decide together whether medication, therapy, or a combination of both is the best path forward.
I specialize in the comprehensive management of complex mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, PTSD, eating disorders, personality disorders, dissociative disorders, and substance use disorders. My strength lies in blending compassionate care with clinical precision—using the latest evidence-based practices to help clients stabilize, heal, and thrive. I take a holistic, client-centered approach that goes beyond symptom control to promote long-term emotional wellness and resilience.
I specialize in working with individuals across the full lifespan—from children as young as 6 to adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population. Whether you're a parent seeking support for a child struggling with anxiety or mood swings, a teen navigating emotional overwhelm or trauma, an adult facing burnout or depression, or a senior managing late-life transitions and cognitive concerns—I provide personalized, compassionate care. My clients often come to me for help with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, substance use, and emotional dysregulation. Many are navigating life transitions, relationship stress, or mental health challenges related to aging. Others seek support with medication management and ongoing psychiatric care as part of a holistic treatment plan. Regardless of age, my ideal clients are open to healing, curious about change, and ready to take steps toward emotional wellness. I meet you where you are—offering a judgment-free, culturally aware space for growth and recovery.

Dr. Ogbetuo was extremely empathetic and listened to all of my concerns. She was thorough and took the time to actually work with me with the type of medications that better suit me as an individual, rather than just prescribing me the basics. I appreciate her openness and the extra steps she is taking to better my mental health. I look forward to seeing her again and I am so glad that I found her. Thank you, Dr. Ogbetuo!
