I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia, as well as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist in North Carolina, with over 8 years of experience walking alongside individuals ages 16–55+ through life’s challenges. My passion is helping people navigate stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, mood changes, and the lingering effects of trauma.
I feel especially honored to work with those recovering from narcissistic relationships or past trauma, who are now ready to rediscover and rebuild their sense of self after years of putting others’ needs before their own. In our work together, I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and empowering space where you can begin to heal, grow, and reconnect with your authentic self.
My therapy style is collaborative, warm, and supportive—I believe in meeting you exactly where you are and walking alongside you as you move toward your goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness practices, and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we will find strategies and tools that fit who you are and support lasting change.
I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Therapist (FL/NJ/VA). I attempt to resolve the most dominant and deep-seated challenges within 8 to 12 sessions with short-term counseling, if you are ready for change and the best fit for the intervention. My therapeutic approach is based on the individual's specific needs. I also use traditional talk therapy with my clients. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of therapy that enables you to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. I work with adult clients. *NOTE: According to my policy, I do not complete FMLA or disability paperwork at this time.

Having studied at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, at Virginia Tech and at George Mason University, I have always tried to be inclusive in my work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, ethnicity, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
Through our working relationship I am hoping to address your counseling goals whether they are to process your past, discover yourself, feel better, adjust to life's transitions, improve your relationships, grieve the loss of a loved one, or find balance in your life at a time of need. Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia. I have been in the mental health field since 2013. I enjoy working with individuals (ages 16-99 years old), couples, and families. I’m a dedicated therapist with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based support. I work with children and adults seeking to address anxiety, stress, depression, coping skills, ADHD, anger, or relationship concerns, tailoring my approach to each person’s unique circumstances. Through therapy, I aim to foster self-awareness, build coping strategies, and strengthen resilience, ultimately helping you find greater balance and fulfillment in your everyday life.
I am a psychotherapist who works with a diverse population of people. My goal is to collaborate with individuals to assist them in achieving their therapy goal(S). My treatment modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and Ericksonian hypnotherapy approaches. Although I used these modalities, I do not use a one size fits all approach. I am a think-out-of-the-box clinician that will often challenge clients to try approaches that may be out of their comfort zone. Some examples of my experience include working with individual clients on developing skills in coping with mental health conditions/diagnosis, life stress, finding balance, and improving self-esteem. Although I use these approaches, my clients tell me it feels like we are having a conversation as opposed to feeling like they are in a therapy session. I have a specialization in working with Veterans, LGBTQI, men, and people of color populations. However, I work with all people who are seeking mental health services. I am licensed in DC (LICSW), VA (LCSW), MD (LCSW-C), and PA (LCSW). I have BS in Human Ecology, BA in Humanities from The Ohio State University, MSW from San Jose State University and Post Masters fellowship in mental health from Stanford University.

My treatment approach is based in third wave behavioral therapies (mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy). My primary focus is holistic care, recognizing and treating the whole person.

I specialize in short-term, goal-focused therapy designed for clients who are ready to do the work and see results. Most clients work with me for about 6–10 sessions, where we focus on practical strategies, mindset shifts, emotional healing, and accountability that supports lasting growth.
My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused, meaning we spend less time dwelling on what is wrong and more time identifying what is already working, what needs to shift, and how to move you forward. I believe you already have strengths, resilience, and answers within you, my role is to help you uncover them, strengthen them, and use them effectively.
Even when things look fine on the outside, you might feel anxious, burned out, disconnected, or just not like yourself. Maybe you're facing a major change, experiencing difficult emotions, carrying the weight of chronic stress or health challenges, or dealing with something you can't quite name. Maybe you're just tired of feeling stuck. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, acute and chronic medical conditions, and life transitions. I welcomes into my practice anyone who’s ready to explore what healing might look like for them.
Therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about having a space where you don’t have to pretend. A space where you can exhale, say the hard things out loud, and feel seen. This is the kind of space I strive to create in every session—where you can be real, be heard, and begin to find your way forward.

My work blends talk therapy with somatic practices, self-compassion, mindfulness, and pattern-tracing to help you better understand yourself and what keeps you stuck. Many clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in cycles of self-doubt and overthinking. Together, we slow things down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and build practical tools that support real, lasting change.

Nice to meet you! I am Krystle Landes, a Licensed Professional Counselor supporting clients in the state of Texas and Virginia. I strive to provide a safe and secure space to allow you to process through growth, ruptures and work towards your identified transformation. The therapy journey is unique to you and even though I ground my work in theory, I recognize that there is no cookie cutter approach to facilitating change and understanding. You may feel desperate, alone, and misunderstood. You feel like you are floating in the bottom of a lake and cannot see the light above you. Everyday, you feel like you are just going through the motions. If this describes you, then I may be the therapist for you. In my nearly twenty years of experience, I have helped people like you reach their potential and achieve the recovery that they needed. There is no set system or quick fix as others may promise, but I will walk down the road with you. My primary focus is on helping you deal with ambiguity. Often our thoughts and subsequently what we teach ourselves becomes rigid and fairly black and white. Using a pragmatic and authentic approach to therapy I try and help you be okay with things that are beyond your control and work with you to establish yourself as the protagonist in your own story. This is primarily accomplished through conversation and allowing you the client to guide the therapy in the direction it needs to go.

I help clients learn how to calm their inner storm through a solution focused approach; along with holistic approaches such as mindfulness, meditation, creative expression, and body movement. I provide therapy that encourages self-compassion, acceptance, and resiliency.

Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individual therapy and occasional small groups.
I work with adults navigating life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, or a desire to better understand themselves and experience life differently.
People come to therapy for many reasons—Some people come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Some come grieving from loss of themselves or someone they love. Grief comes in many forms, each one matters. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and explore new ways of thinking and being.
I believe we are never too old to grow and change. Even in difficult seasons, it is possible to begin again and reconnect with who you are at your core. Therapy can help you rediscover yourself while building or strengthening the skills you need for your life.
