Hello, I am Margie, Do you ever feel like there is not enough time in the day? Are you increasingly feeling off (meaning, that you know something is going on that is causing a disconnect but you are not sure what it is)? I assist people with finding/repairing their focus on what is most important to them in order to avoid/lessen burnout. Together we can identify what is not working and develop a plan for how to address the areas of disconnection. Together we will work as a partnership to develop strategies to create "a present and future that makes you feel more fulfilled." In addition to focusing on the mind, body soul connection, I also integrate mindfulness, music and art to help you improve yourself. Throughout life's twists and turns, I am here to help. Seeking therapy is a huge step and for various reasons, many people do not. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can take ownership of "what I want, what I need and where I want to go."

I have also worked for Orlando Health at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies covering the ED/Triage, antepartum and postpartum units of the hospital. This position gave me experience with providing crisis interventions and psychotherapeutic counseling to patient's who have a history of severe mental health issues, or who are actively experiencing medical emergencies, traumatic events, domestic violence, manic/depressive episodes, psychotic episodes, and suicidal ideations. In addition, I provided education on post partum depression and child care. Every person has a story. The culmination of experiences in one's life shapes how they view themselves, their relationships, and the world. I have a passion for helping clients celebrate their unique strengths and gifts they share with others. With experiences in both private practice and hospitals, I have noticed a particular need for clients to separate their view of themselves from their current difficulties and circumstances. In spite of where clients may find themselves at the moment, my belief is that they have overcome every difficulty, challenge, and trauma that they have faced up to the present moment. As such, they will withstand their current circumstances, and will again declare victory.

Hello there. My name is Joan I have been a social worker for over 25 years. Like you, I have had my own set of challenges and believe the key to overcoming life's obstacles is learning to plan and cope. We can't control all the pain that will come our way, but we can control how we react to it. Of course, this is sometimes easier said than done and we need help. Hi, I'm Shelly — a licensed professional counselor with a passion for helping people find their footing when life feels overwhelming. My journey in mental health began decades ago in music therapy, working in psychiatric settings where I first witnessed the remarkable capacity people have to heal when given the right support and a safe space. That foundation shapes the way I work to this day — with attunement, creativity, and a deep belief in each person's capacity to heal. I specialize in anxiety, OCD, trauma, and addiction recovery, using evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build real, lasting skills rather than just temporary relief. I have a particular heart for neurodivergent individuals — including those with ADHD and autism — who may have spent years feeling misunderstood. You do fit — sometimes it just takes the right space to discover that. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Good therapy isn't just about insight — it's about leaving each session with something you can actually use. I'll meet you where you are, move at a pace that feels right, and work hard to make sure our time together is meaningful. For clients who desire it, I welcome the integration of faith and spirituality into our work. I believe healing touches the whole person — mind, heart, and spirit — and that for many people, faith isn't separate from their healing but central to it. I hold that with care and without pressure. Whether you're navigating a specific struggle or carrying a weight you've held for too long, you don't have to do it alone. Reaching out is the hardest step — and I'm really glad you're here. I'd love the opportunity to connect.

Veronica Montoya has experience working with all ages, including adults, young adults, teens/adolescents, and children. She has worked with people in a broad range of areas, including anxiety, depression, substance use, parent-child relationships, self-esteem, decision-making issues, and body image issues. The most important aspect of my work with you will be to build a positive, trusting therapeutic relationship in which we can together work through whatever difficulties you may be facing. Being a therapist is my first career. I studied psychology with a minor in Spanish for my bachelor's degree and have a master's degree in mental health counseling (which led to me becoming a licensed mental health counselor). There are many reasons I am well-suited to be a therapist but to begin, I am nonjudgmental, caring, empathetic, and open. I have worked in a variety of areas, including private practice, residential treatment centers with adults and teens, and specialized therapeutic foster care with children. I have also worked with everyone from infants and toddlers to seniors. These various settings help me take a holistic approach when working with my clients.

I’m a trauma‑informed, somatic and Brainspotting therapist who supports adults who are high‑functioning on the outside but carrying a lot internally. My work centers communities of color, caregivers, helping professionals, and anyone who has spent years being “the strong one” with very few places to land. In our sessions, you don’t have to perform or hold everything together. I use a calm, attuned, body‑based approach that helps you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and release what your nervous system has been holding. Whether you’re navigating trauma, grief, burnout, or identity‑based stress, I offer a space that is culturally responsive, collaborative, and grounded in real healing—not just talking about it. If you’re ready to feel more regulated, more connected, and more like yourself again, I’m here to walk with you.

I am a man of God, family man and someone who is always here to help. I served 10 years active-duty Army and when leaving the service, I pursued a college education earning my degrees to help individuals who want help. I will help anyone regardless of ability to pay as long as it is ethical and said individual wants help. Life can be a struggle and we all need help sometimes, I have been called unhinged and I do use humor when appropriate as asking for help can be uncomfortable and I will do anything possible to help ease these feelings/thoughts. I work with people who look like they have it all together but feel overwhelmed behind the scenes. Many of my clients are capable, independent, and used to being the ones others rely on, but have reached a point where simply pushing through is no longer sustainable. Hello, I am Shana Toney, a Licensed Professional Counselor. Over my lifetime I have always worked in human services. It was gratifying to work with clients in their time of need and support them through the process. Many of the clients would say they felt comfortable talking to me and I listened to their needs. Those years of serving the community led me to become a therapist. Once I became a therapist 8 years ago, I found my passion. I love having the opportunity and freedom to work with clients, helping them figure things out, learn to create change in their lives and coping with situations they have no control over. Change is not easy but possible. My role as a therapist is to walk with clients to help create their change and happiness they desire.

Treat others the way you want to be treated is the motto I live by. I want to be treated kindly, I want to be heard and I want to feel I matter. This is how I will treat you, without strings or hesitation. I have a story just as you do. I have been lucky to choose a career that has enabled me to know when I need to talk to someone, enabled me to learn and use coping skills that work and has also enabled me to see the beauty through the broken pieces. Growing up I was a nosey child, I always wanted to know the "why", I still do! This personality trait led me on a path where I have been able to meet people from all walks of life, people who seemingly burned every bridge walked over, people with no hope as well as people who just were going through a rough patch. All these individuals have helped me become the person and the therapist I am today. I am truly excited to hear people’s story, restore faith and be the constant in people’s lives. Give me a chance to hear your story, you are not alone!

I chose to change careers late in life. It has been a wonderful decision. I am able to help people in their daily lives be happy. I attended SMU Counseling Program in Plano from 2010 to 2013. I was privileged to complete my practicum and internship at the Resource Center in Dallas. I requested this opportunity so I could help as many people as possible. This was not standard procedure, but I was allowed to do the unusual. I believe clients simply want to be happy. They want to make their choices in life without guilt or shame. Everyone deserves that freedom. I hope that I can help people facilitate that life. I am happy to share techniques that provide acceptance that allow people to not be impacted by the judgmental world in which we live. Please give me a call and see if we connect and if you feel comfortable and safe speaking with me.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing a grounded, supportive, and non-judgmental space for individuals and couples to explore what they’re carrying and move toward meaningful change. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, integrating evidence-based practices like CBT and Brainspotting while honoring the connection between mind and body. Having lived abroad, I’ve had the opportunity to experience many cultures and walks of life, which deeply informs my perspective and allows me to meet clients with openness, curiosity, and cultural humility. I am also completing my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) next month, further strengthening my commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based, and meaningful care. I work with clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lasting impact of past experiences. I believe therapy should feel collaborative and at your pace—where you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. My goal is to help you build insight, strengthen coping, and reconnect with yourself and your relationships in a way that feels more clear, steady, and aligned.

My name is Elvira Aleman Vaughan. I am a counselor whose focus is helping people who have experienced ongoing trauma. I am a Christian, so I approach healing from this worldview. If you prefer talk therapy I'll use CBT to help you get to the root of the issue. But if you are open to trying a proven technique that is less conventional and yields quicker results, I will use EMDR to help you heal and move forward.
