Hello, I am Kathleen.
Do you feel overwhelmed, burnt out or pulled in a million different directions? Are you struggling with your relationships, work or health? Is it difficult for you to find time for yourself, let alone, be kind to yourself? Do you feel "stuck" and unable to move forward?
Many of us are experiencing loneliness, depression, anxiety and social isolation, so it is important to make caring for yourself a priority. Therapy can help you feel more connected, balanced and peaceful.
Together, we can help identify what is not working and regain a sense of balance. We'll use a holistic approach, addressing the needs of your body, mind and spirit. We will develop a "toolbox" of coping skills and create new insights and awarenesses to help you become a happier and healthier version of yourself.
Seeking therapy can feel threatening but it's one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and by doing so also give to others.
In our sessions, I will meet you with kindness, compassion, humor and evidence-based modalities, so you can overcome obstacles and habits that may be holding you back. My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe, supportive and empathic environment in which to work through current issues, conflicting relationships and/or past pain.
I look forward to meeting you and working together.
Are you at the point where you are looking to make a change but you're just not sure what to do next? Are you looking for direction but could benefit from an outside perspective? As your therapist, I am here for you! I am here on the good days and on the hard days. Therapy is meant to be an experience where you feel validated, seen, and heard. Overall, my goal is to challenge and support you with gaining confidence, purpose, and hope!
Hello there! My name is April and I have been in this field for 10 years now. My main goal is to make a space for you and your healing journey. I deliver my therapy modalities as kind and respectful as I do truthful. Honesty may be hard but toxic positivity is harmful, I approach life with a strength based perspective.

I am the mother to 2 grown children and a grandmother. I was married for over 40 years prior to my husband passing, I now share my house with a Golden Retriever.
I went back to school later in life, and like to encourage others to do the same if possible.
My first experience in this field came when I got a job at a county mental health/developmental services program as a receptionist. I was motivated by all the great work that the caseworkers were doing to improve their clients lives. I went back to school to finish my Bachelors and finally received a Masters in Social work. I retired from the county program as a Casework Supervisor, I felt that my position was becoming more administrative, and I was missing the connections I had made with my clients.
At that time I felt it was time to work on what my original goal was which was to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I did work for 5 years with children with behavioral issues in school and in their homes.
My previous position was in a small practice in rural PA, where I learned the importance of being eclectic in my treatment approach because every clent and their situation is different , and they deserve to have a treatment plan specifically targeted to their situation
Everyone deserves a journey of self-healing and self-discovery. In fact, allowing yourself to blossom is the avenue to experiencing self-love and meaningful connections with others.
I have worked in the field of mental health for over 15 years, but started researching and seeking methods of healing since my early teens. I attended the University of California, San Diego, followed by Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, studying Clinical Psychology, Critical Gender Studies, and Transpersonal Psychology. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified EFT Practitioner.
I have experience assisting individuals with a range of issues including anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, addictions, end of life issues, and issues related to discrimination and marginalization. I am an experienced therapist, supervisor, and group facilitator in various settings. I have also instructed Graduate Level Psychology students, teaching courses on Transforming Addictions and Multicultural and Diversity Issues in Counseling.

Since I was 17, I’d always wanted to be a therapist. I learned that sometimes it takes more than just healing the mind in order to heal the whole person. That means that sometimes people need healing on emotional, psychological and spiritual levels. I then received two masters degrees, one in mental health counseling, and the other in the applied healing arts. Utilizing both these degrees has helped me to combine both traditional and alternative therapies into my work.

Whether you're navigating trauma, life transitions, or the weight of self-doubt, my commitment is to help you reconnect with your inner resilience and wisdom. As a therapist, the most important aspect of therapy is working together to create goals for therapy and create a path for meaningful change. Change is an element that is uncomfortable to most people, but by working together, we can establish lasting change through the use of each individuals strengths and by providing support. My approach is practical, I work from a cognitive perspective using cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical therapy, exposure response prevention, and positive psychology.
Hi There, Perrin here, If you are reading this short bio, I want to first congratulate you on the first step towards self discovery. I was born in The Bronx, NY which has inducted me naturally into a world that did not always make sense. I am mixed with African American and Native American heritage so this has allowed me to be both culturally sensitive as well as unbiased towards the human experience. I have a great appreciation for humanity which has led me to this field and assisting individuals in recognizing their innate abilities to push through tough challenges is my most treasured goal. My practice embodies the three core processes I have concluded to be effective during my 13 years of experience. These processes are; explore, grow, and maintain and through these processes, individuals will understand and explore where they have come from, growing through their experiences, and using the skills along the way in maintaining effective change.

Together, we develop a personalized plan that acknowledges these challenges while focusing on building resilience, improving cognitive and emotional functioning, and creating a meaningful, fulfilling life. I work with adults and older adults navigating life transitions, cognitive changes, and the emotional impact of aging, equipping them with the tools to adapt, regain control, and maintain independence at any stage of life.
My research focuses on women’s health, autonomy, and decision-making in medical, relational, and workplace contexts. I am particularly interested in how gender role beliefs and power dynamics can influence health outcomes, self-advocacy, and access to care. This work informs my clinical practice by ensuring that therapy remains collaborative, respectful of autonomy, and attentive to the unique social pressures women and men may experience.
