About me

Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters defree from Rosemont University and have been practicing for 10 years. My professional experience in residential, community, and both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings has provided me the opportunity to develop a diverse range of skills that I implement in sessions. I work with individuals of all ages who seek to improve their communication skills, stress management, self-esteem, life transitions, and any symptoms related to mental health diagnoses.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together we will go over brief introductions and general expectations before diving into the more specific challenges you are facing- collaborating together on a plan for us to work through in our ongoing sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My many years of experience in community mental health have really strengthened my ability to meet each individual where they are in their journey and provide a safe space for them to work through any challenges they are experiencing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with young adults feeling the stress of life's transitions. My ideal clients are courageous and curious to know themselves more deeply, motivated to take steps towards identifying what is helping and hindering them in living the life they want, and are open to learning and practicing new ways of tending to their relationships with self and others- and dusting off old ones too!

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

My strength-based approach is rooted in my community mental health background. When we are overwhelmed it can often be a struggle to focus on the good. You can do hard things- you've done so many hard things already. Let's work together to identify those strengths and use them to your advantage.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I want therapy to be what you need it to be. My approach is tailored to each individual's unique needs. Building a trusting relationship is key, and I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic space where you can openly express your thoughts and feelings. All therapy journeys are different. I strive to meet you exactly where you are at and empower you to grow more resilient and confident in your ability to manage life’s challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My training and experience with CBT allows us to focus on cultivating awareness and insight into the thought and behavior patterns that impact your daily functioning. Through this we will take steps towards identifying what is helping and hindering you in living the life you want.

I was extremely nervous about getting into therapy and for the first session, but felt at ease immediately.
